  1. I wasn't interested in this set before but you've done such a great job on it I feel compelled to grab it when next available!
  2. Hello. Looking to start Malifaux with Ressers and Ten Thunders. I was wondering if there is a particular crew box that would suit a new player? Or is it a case of just buy whatever looks cool to me? Due to my interest in the above two factions, I was thinking about Kirari, but a friend mentioned Seamus as generally a good jumping off point. Cheers.
  3. Every time I look at the time now I hear the 24 'countdown' tune. ?
  4. I'm fairly confident that Wyrd want this game to be different to Malifaux. There are common elements, of course. But those asking for this to work as a skirmish game may be disappointed .
  5. Ah...that would be their... ...Cab-BOOM-shtick. ..
  6. Shaken tokens might be valuable for CM - I believe that's what Aaron is hinting at.
  7. Flat terrain is a thing now. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea but it does save balancing models (or unit bases) in a precarious manner. For folks that are drawn into preassembled armies would flat, pre-printed terrain be ano the plus?
  8. I do love the up-gunned ED-209!
  9. @JDAntoine The game is played on a six by four board. (From the ToS page under game play. ) I suspect that the table size and ''light scattered terrain'' are to allow us to manoeuvre the multi-model bases around. I second the comment on the King's Empire models looking a bit long in the leg and arm department. That seems to be the case when looking at the art ompared to any if Wyrd''s models, though. The humans often look a bit spindly to me.
  10. @AaronYou answered my question. Thank you. ☺
  11. Interoragtive: We saw a couple of CBM models earlier in the year. Were they 'production' models or resin 'masters'? I ask because coming from PP I am a little leary of PVC.
  12. Thank you for the video. This cements the King's Empire as my go to faction. Maybe CBM as a second. The sample cards seem to show that Wyrd want to see the armies working on the table in accordance to their fluff - e.g. GIB's not only getting to recycle models but move them double distance when they do (so that they can actually get back to the fight) I'm going to scrape together some cash for this but I really, really need to see production samples of at least one or two models before I put too much into this. I have seen a couple of CBM models but I think they were resin masters. (I would be very happy to be corrected on that.) Resin Masters, Renders and concept art are analogous to "Lies, Damned lies and statistics." In my opinion. But this does look very interesting. I am quite dumbfounded that there isn't more interest in this already!?!
