PlasmaFields
OK, so here is that noob question I promised everyone. And I have looked, and searched, and dug through the archives here and the wiki, so sorry if it's been mentioned before. My opponenet and I in a duel (doesn't really matter what sort), and we've flipped our cards and resolved any +/- flips. It's my turn to cheat fate, and I do, since I'm losing, but I elect not to spend a SS. Then my opponent also cheats fate, and comes up with a higher duel total than me. He also chooses not to spend SS. Is the duel then resolved, or does play return to me in order that I may cheat fate again?
Lucidicide
It does not return to you. One chance to cheat only, whoever was losing initially first. On a side note, in M2E you cannot use a soulstone to raise your total during the duel. That was just M1E.
Tuttleboy
You get 1 and only 1 chance to cheat.
PlasmaFields
Thanks to all, that's what I thought. I also phrased that badly, instead of "spending SS" I should have said "using a SS for an extra flip, in the event that we both have Masters"

I also phrased that badly, instead of "spending SS" I should have said "using a SS for an extra flip, in the event that we both have Masters" The decision to use a SS must be done at the very beginning, by the time you get to cheat fate it is to late to use the SS. Ausplosions
The decision to use a SS must be done at the very beginning, by the time you get to cheat fate it is to late to use the SS. As in before any cards are flipped. With the defender choosing first.
Adran
In M2E the process goes Defender declares soulstone use Attacker declares soulstone use Both flip, and pick the card they are using Loser has a chance to cheat The other player has a chance to cheat Declare triggers Resolve duel In M1 it goes Both players flip Pick starting card Loser gets a chance to cheat The same player may spend a soulstone to flip an extra card The other player ( gets a chance to cheat Player ( gets a chance to spend soulstone to flip an extra card Triggers are declared Duel resolved Regardless of which version you are playing, you will only get 1 chance to cheat each duel
