Thanks to all, that's what I thought. I also phrased that badly, instead of "spending SS" I should have said "using a SS for an extra flip, in the event that we both have Masters"

OK, so here is that noob question I promised everyone. And I have looked, and searched, and dug through the archives here and the wiki, so sorry if it's been mentioned before. My opponenet and I in a duel (doesn't really matter what sort), and we've flipped our cards and resolved any +/- flips. It's my turn to cheat fate, and I do, since I'm losing, but I elect not to spend a SS. Then my opponent also cheats fate, and comes up with a higher duel total than me. He also chooses not to spend SS. Is the duel then resolved, or does play return to me in order that I may cheat fate again?

Hi All! A friend from my gaming group came home from Gencon with a copy of the 2nd ed beta rules, and since there was only the two of us one night, we made up a quick 30 SS Brawl and had at each other. So, while playing, I came up with one of those dumb stupid noob questions that will probably irritate everyone, so I'm going to go post it in the appropriate place.
