Cadilon
This is currently posted up on ebay. Malifaux: Wargroup: Seamus and the Rotten Belles Does anyone know anything about this? Is this an early box set prototype? Or is it a fake box set that someone has come up with? The box set name is wrong as we currently know it, of course. Wyrd uses 'Crews' now and not 'Wargroups'. You can always tell when someone knows nothing about Malifaux when they are trying to sell a Malifaux 'Warband' or 'Wargroup'. On the other hand, who is to say that Wyrd didn't call them that in the early stages of of the game? The box art has a Wyrd feel to it. But then again, with the available fonts and artwork, I could come up with the same thing in an hour. It's obvious that the box label is a wrap around, but it also shows much wear, like its been around for a long while. Finally, I don't see and there is no mention of any cards. Which really doesn't speak to its authenticity at all, I guess. As a collector I'd be interested in those crew boxes if they are authentic. Can anyone educate me? Thanks! i_was_like_you
I'm at work, so I can't see the link. However, Wyrd was selling their miniatures prior to making the game of Malifaux, so, it might be an early, pre-Malifaux box for selling Seamus and his Belles. Nathan Caroland
It's legit and well before the game came about. Believe we printed those on a copy machine and slapped them across boxes the night before Gencon one year.

i_was_like_you
Nice. Looks like they also have the Lady J Wargroup on there, as well as some early blisters of other models. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Malifaux-Wargroup-Lady-Justice-and-The-Death-Marshals-/190818027436?pt=Games_US&hash=item2c6da407ac

nilus
Thanks Nathan! Thats exactly the history I was looking for. Its worth noting that it pre-dates the game rules by at least a year, so there will be no cards included
Cadilon
So this would've been...what? Gencon 2008?

dirtycrabcakes
Or when Malifaux is bigger than Warhammer, it will be worth $7,000 dollars. Yes - $7,000 exactly.
