zFiend
It really works out great for sure! What do you have under the works next?
SpiralngCadavr
Getting around to posting a couple things I've already done, next, though, I'm going to be doing Collodi and moving towards a new crew... -McMourning -Von Schill -Ortegas -Mei Feng -(expanding) dreamer are all things I've started on but haven't gotten much past assembly/conversions and basing. I've been having a bit of trouble getting started.
zFiend
Nice. So we're in for a treat
SpiralngCadavr
Eh... in a bit of a slump and still having trouble getting moving. So, yes? Eventually? In the interim, the Strongarm I entered in WAMP's competition (sadly, he didn't place, but I still like him). Notes for those who don't just want to look at pics.

Viruk
Great paintjob, I love those bricks flying around, they give him a sense of power.
SpiralngCadavr
Thanks, all! Some less sophisticated but still fun random steampunk models (with notes, as usual). I have around 20 of these I'm doing, thought I'd include them in my plog here, since there are definitely a few that would be fun Malifaux proxies. SpiralngCadavr
It's been a while, but getting back in to painting Malifaux with Collodi and company, as an unusual reference to, uh, those things the forum filters won't allow me to talk about.
dmeep
really like the patterning on collodi
Inquisitor Wall
Excellent work so far on the collodi crew. The wicked doll on the jack in the box is really cool.
Viruk
Love the color scheme, the paintjob is excellent as usual.
zFiend
That Collodi is disturbing! Well done again!
SpiralngCadavr
Thanks Collodi's definitely my favorite, the photo messed up his colors just a little but I still think he looks cool. Working on the next set for the crew after I'm off the computer...
SpiralngCadavr
The second and larger half (with notes)
Linus Mcmold
You have an awesome looking Collodi crew. I'd love to play against them
SpiralngCadavr
Thanks! These ones are actually going to a client, though... While it's always a little disappointing to see 'em go, it's also fun to paint a set I probably wouldn't have, otherwise: Collodi's stock color scheme never spoke to me so I never really considered the crew, though I'm re-thinking that, having had the chance to paint the crew in a non-standard scheme. I'm also really happy with some of the techniques I tries (particularly the fast OSL), so bits of this will definitely be appearing elsewhere.
Viruk
Very nice paintjobs all around. I particularly like the Wicked Dolls. I haven't seen them painted with browns before so it's a nice change and it works very well.
zFiend
Really awesome looking second batch! The Effigies are amazing.
spectrehorseman
Nice, I agree with Zfiend, those Effigies are awesome. Very colorful.
sigmar3
Nice work here. And you know I think I voted for your Wamp entry by the way! It's very good
SpiralngCadavr
Thanks, everyone, I was really happy with the effigies in particular (and felt that the wicked dolls had more in common with the Stitched Together than they did with the rest of the crew, hence the toned-down look). Also, thanks, Sigmar! That's one of my favorites, who immediately went to the display case, despite not seeing that much recognition. Finally, a couple touch-ups on collodi's face and the Mysterious Effigy's masks:
Viruk
That is probably the creepiest version of Collodi I've seen so far.
SpiralngCadavr
Not painting, but illustration and design today. I'm a pretty serious Tara fan, so spent quite some time working on these cards, and think they look pretty damn good. Like I said on my blog, I'm not going to post the backs unless I get the official go-ahead from Wyrd, since this is fan art, and I don't want to step on anyone's toes. Also, feel free to print them, etc, but please give credit/links.
