Ozz
So, i have been playing this game for about 18 months or so now, and i always found the Nino model to look really weird, and finally at the GT i figured out why, it is nothing complicated, but as simple as he is left handed! And yes, it did take me this long to figure that out! Anyway i just decided i would post this and see if i was alone in taking so long to realise it:)
Twisted Metal
Ive been playing since book one and I never noticed that tidbit either. I have an excuse though... I haven't painted mine yet.

Odin1981
Didn't know this either also. Granted I have maybe played nino in 10 games out of probably well over 100 guild games since the book 1 days. If I recall correctly there was a vietnam vet marine sniper that was left handed as well and maybe he has a feather in his hat not sure if so but that might be a referance to that guy then. Just a guess though not sure.
Rameses
hrm... I don't recall reading that Carlos Hathcock was left handed, but that doesn't mean he was or wasn't. But I will say that if Nino was a representation of Lông Trắng du Kich then Wyrd Dev's didn't make Nino near epic enough.
FearLord
Nino has already creeped me out as well - I assumed it was because of the shorts though...
naiatoc
To he honest I never noticed he was left handed (although I haven't painted mine yet). I too thought the model looked a little strange, but I never could figure out what he was doing. He's standing on one foot kind of jumping back. Who shoots a gun like that! My plan was to build a little section of wooden fence in front of him and have that foot on the horizontal cross beam.

Arkion
Billy the Kid was left-handed, and Nino means 'little boy' in Spanish. Maybe he's a subtle reference to Billy the Kid?
scuttlebut
I always imagine Nino to be Angus Young, both in looks and hyperactive energy. Edited November 22, 2012 by scuttlebut

Zeckenschmidt
Nino doesn't mean "little boy", it's a shorter way of saying Godfather. Padrino is the word but little kids usually can't say it so they just say Nino. It's funny because I'm the only Spanish speaker at my game store. Alfndrate
But would Nino (with the accent over the second n) be correct in saying little boy? My two years of spanish classes say yes?
nilus
I think his name is suppose to be Niño, note the little line there. Which is the Spanish word for boy or child.

I thought so, I don't have my book 1 on me, but looking at his pic on Pullmyfinger it doesn't have the line
Zeckenschmidt
Yup. What his name means comes down to grammar. What's printed means Godfather. I think that sounds better though haha.
