CrouchingMoose
I was looking a the crew creator on here and clicked the Brawl box. It came up with a 2nd Master position, specifically either Ramos, Hoffman or Hamlin the Plagued. So was wondering which out of those would work the best with Levie. Initially I would reply with either Ramos or Hoffman just because there is a lot of construct synergy there...I really like the idea of having the Levi's big constructs being repaired and controlled by Ramos or Hoffman. Hamelin and Levi is a completely different game however...IIRC, you can only hire from a pool of about 4 models(requirements become something like ht1 insignifcant undead soulless or constructs...However at this point both card draw mechanics sort of help offset each other (as im typing this, i keep thinking about pockets and his 20+ ss with hamelin and sharing that with Levi
Elazar
Levi and Hamelin can't take constructs as Hamelin is specifically not allowed them so you're limited to Ht 1 or Insignificant Undead models and soulless models. Which gives you Canine Remains, Crooligans, The Stolen, Rusty Alyce and Nix I believe + Hamelin's totem. Not played them together but find myself very tempted to try just because the idea of two constantly respawning masters is rather amusing! graeme27uk
Maybe not the place to post this, but its about Leveticus... so as good as any. I dislike the current Leveticus model and the alt is way of (so I hear)... so I have been looking for a proxie model. What do people think of.... http://www.coolminiornot.com/shop/jeremiah-crow-1-35-scale.html http://www.shop.microartstudio.com/thorvald-nielsgaard-p-290.html http://battlecollege.wikispaces.com/Withershadow http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Chronoscope/latest/50012#detail/50012_w_3 http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/index.php?act=pro&pre=smx_mse_ger_ess_101_000 http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/index.php?act=pro&pre=cis_hld_wes_ind_511_000 (with a bit of conversion needed) http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/index.php?act=pro&pre=tab_edn_isc_drn_241_000 (this is a great model, but a bit too big perhaps) http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/index.php?act=pro&pre=fbt_fbf_bhd_spc_151_000 http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/index.php?act=pro&pre=som_spw_nwb_elt_101_000 http://www.maelstromgames.co.uk/index.php?act=pro&pre=tow_tow_ftg_032_107_000 http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat1140003&prodId=prod1160013a (obviously get rid of the gun and some minor conversion) Edited March 10, 2012 by graeme27uk

Honestly, if I were you, I'd just take Leveticus in a Brawl and not take a second master. If you really want to, Ramos is probably the best. But Leveticus is disgusting with 4 Waifs... who needs more?
Fetid Strumpet
I feel that in most cases in a brawl you should just take the extra SS. Less fight over who gets to use the SS cache, and less conflict over suite usage, if you play a faction that cares about suites.
JisaacT
That first model is by far my favorite for a different Levi! That or the Hauptsturmführer Konrad von Kardsten. or the last one! Some of them (to me at least) seem a bit far off Levi's style and look.
graeme27uk
Am I reading that right! Maelstrom games are selling the Smog 1888 model for £18.90!!!!! Is it a 54mm scale model? Or is it a 32mm model? Why is it SO expensive.... kind of makes getting it rather than the Levie model rather pointless.. I could get an entire crew for that model almost. Hjelmen
Smog 1888 miniatures are 54 mm, so it'd be massively oversized for Malifaux. Konrad Von Kardsten is also too big, since it's 1/32 scale. Edited March 11, 2012 by Hjelmen
graeme27uk
Guess I will just have to wait for the alt to come out. So do people think the Cryx idea is a silly one and would not fit the Malifaux world?
Hjelmen
So do people think the Cryx idea is a silly one and would not fit the Malifaux world?Sorry, but yes. Personally, I feel that those minis do not fit into the atmosphere of Malifaux. But it's your minis, so if you like the idea go for it
schristofersen
it's your minis, so if you like the idea go for it Your stuff, your fun, your call. I think the Cryx minis are pretty cool. If you should happen to make them converted a bit to be more Malifaux like to the masses, great. If you like them just the way they are and can get games in with people that don't mind, go for it. schristofersen
I dunno which models you are specifically referring to but it really doesn't matter. The answer is however it will look right to you.

Math Mathonwy
Smog 1888 miniatures are 54 mm, so it'd be massively oversized for Malifaux. Konrad Von Kardsten is also too big, since it's 1/32 scale. Aren't they 48mm actually? (Not that it matters here, as they are obviously way too big, but I believe they aren't 54mm scale). Hjelmen
Now that you mention it, I think you're right. Smog is in 1/32 scale, but I'm not that strong in the conversion from scale to mm
