Iron Heel
Hello, I noticed a lot of folks with laminated cards on youtube Malifaux battle reports. Where does someone get such things done?
Mike3838
Not sure if you're in the UK? But I bought a laminator from Asda (Wallmart equivalent) for about £10 Mike
Absolution Black
Yeah, its cheap enough to buy your own...I got my A4 one (that does all sizes up to A4) from Wilkinsons for £9. I then bought a few packs of A6 wallets from WHSmiths, they quite often have BOGOF offers on these, or similar.
Mister_Q
+1 for Australia. An A4 size laminator isn't too expensive and there's bound to be other stuff you'll use it for.
karavak
I have a laminator at home. But depending on where you are, Fedex Office or other printing/copying places tend to do it.
nilus
You can get your cards laminated at any office supply place that does copy work. They use 8 1/2 by 11 laminiator poaches so be sure to ask to get 5 cards laminated in one pouch and then cut them out yourself. Some places will do one pouch per card and charge you a fortune. Or you can buy a cheap laminator and do it youself. About twice a year Amazon runs a deal of the day for a scotch brand laminator for 15 bucks. Then just go check out amazon or ebay for a big box of pouches.
fishtank
I was shown a much easier thing. Buy a pack of clear CD sleeves. The plastic pouch type. Theya re the PERFECT width for Malifaux cards. You can trim them down to the right height very easily. Quick, simple, absolutely dirt cheap, and practical. harbinger
I got mine done at Office Max. If you go that route make SURE they do them as pages and not one big piece. I made that mistake and and they came out pretty crappy. Personally next time Ill probably do as others say and buy one.
Malifauxcurr
I got a dirt cheap laminating machine from Wal Mart along with laminating sleeves and it has been a godsend. I can do five cards at a go fast and cheap. Edited February 14, 2012 by Malifauxcurr
notmikehill
I got mine done at the FedEx/Kinkos we have in the area. The lamination is thick, cheap, and the store is open 24 hours! (SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!)
Twisted Metal
My local gaming store Purchased one to be used in house when Malifaux got big. Now each time I buy a model the card goes right through the laminator. Of course there is always staples, kinkos or any other office store.
