Here we are with Episode 6, only two week after Episode 5! You can find it here: http://theaethervox.com/

Remember, we have a new format here at The Aethervox. From now on our release schedule will alternate between tactics interviews and regular episodes. Hopefully, this will help us get material out more regularly and give our excellent tactics interviews the spotlight they deserve.

This episode our topic is Ramos and our tactician is Aaron Brueckman, better known as LoboStele.

Hope you enjoy!

Great episode so far (about 40 minutes in). Congrats Lobo, sounding good! :D

Two things:

I believe Chompy's Disembowl trigger also allows you to inflict damage AND force a two card discard.

... and this is something I've wondered while listening to this and other Aethervox tactica interviews: Why does everyone consider a Ht 1 model easy to hide? Almost every interviewee, at some point, indicates that such and such Ht 1 model can remain out of LoS behind Ht 1 terrain. According to LoS rules, this only applies to other Ht 1 models ... right? Ht 2 models (the majority of models) can still draw LoS to a Ht 1 model behind Ht 1 terrain, or am I mistaken?

I haven't had time to listen to the podcast yet myself, so I don't remember exactly what I said. But you're right. Typically, when I say Ht 1 models are 'easy' to hide, I'm usually talking about hiding them behind Ht 2 terrain. That way, they can be completely within the shadow, and then not targeted by other Ht 2 models. Good catch though. If I didn't say it correctly or make it clear on the podcast, my apologies! :)

No worries Lobo. You don't specifically mention a Ht 1 model behind Ht 1 terrain - actually, I'm not certain any of the previous interviewees do, either - but that's how my brain chose to interpret certain statements. It's probably my problem, not yours! :D

Again, great job and congrats on an enjoyable and educational interview. :)

Cheers TV

I was actually thinking of Jordan when asking Lobostele about Joss. I remember him saying that he'd been having trouble getting the best out of him. Hopefully we (or more specifically Lobo) have helped him with that.

BTW, does he come on the forums?

Not regularly. Once fall hits I suspect a lot of our players will be on, though.

Regards,

TV
