InfamousChicken
Well I was down at the LGS and I found what looked like the perfect model to convert Ashes and Dust from. A couple hours of sawing, filing and converting later, I had what looked like excellent proxies for Ashes and Dust. . . And then I saw they're height of 2  Oh well! Hope you enjoy! Also, before I get them primed and based, any suggestions on improvement or painting? I can see I need to work on Leveticus as well! mistercactus
Pretty cool. What did you use for the dust cloud?
InfamousChicken
I used a DnD mini: Thunderblast Cyclone from Against the Giants. It was a pain to saw off the base. It has a hard plastic plug holding the softer plastic of the cyclone.
Regnak
Great work sir. The official models seem to be MIA so its great to see something to represent them

LonelyPath
I like it, who cares if the book says they're Ht. 2, tis is a mean looking conversion!
durek
Nice original job, one of the better conversions Ive seen.
AmishLuvah
That's really nice. Where did the grey plastic bits come from?
InfamousChicken
Thanks for the compliments! All the bits are from 40k. The skulls are from the Ork Biker box. The shoulder pads/base of the core are ork shoulder pads. The claws are Lightning Claws from the Chaos Terminator Lord box. The dragons and the top of the core are from the Chaos vehicle sprue. The arms are just wires. Overall the model is pretty cheap to convert.
Omenbringer
The cyclone is similar to the idea I had for mine, though I would be using a yelowish resin and adding some irrdescent medium for that sand storm sparkle.
InfamousChicken
If I had the time/skills to do something like that I would, but I don't. I will be painting the cyclones though.
DireTrollJake
Sweet conversion. Is there an actual date on the Wyrd sculpt yet?
LoboStele
Looks awesome. Nicely done. Wyrd said at GenCon that the plan was for all Book 2 models to be released by October. So I expect to see A&D officially in September or October.
