Mister Tezla
Now these would be cool, some one to go up against Perdita I'd love to see another wester-gunslinger crew option as Outcast. Don't get me wrong, the gremlin's are cool, but having a good old, classic outlaw crew would be nice. Not straight gunfighters of course, gotta have a little bit of that Wyrd-ness in there (Darktower-style gunslingers maybe?)
Omenbringer
Was going to include a link to the Youtube video for "Drinking out of Cups" but due to the mature language content figured it might be better not to. That is a nice concept of an angry tree meister though, he just needs a crown.

On that note: a Pinkerton Dective type squad would be cool... would even tie into the Railroad Baron theme Pinkerton could be the Henchmen/Special forces unit while the RR unit would have the Master
the imp
Odd thought, did the American civil war occur in the alternate history of Malifaux? Are there Confederate rebels amongst the convicts exiled to Malifaux? Did any of them ride with Quantrill?

ThePandaDirector
Here are some of my thoughts: A crew made up of mostly cavarly models - could be an outlaw gang, guild specialists aimed at hunting and mobile combat or a more militant Arcanist group. A Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde Resurrectionist or Guild master Samurai outcast master, good at dealing with spirits and undead Undead neverborn? Also what if there was a person who didn't have any powers, who's crew we're devoid of the use of soulstones. Sort of like an untouchable, resilent to magic, etc. Native American inspired Arcanists who can us spirits (Marcus but with spirits) Ben and Jerry, the ultimate anti-Victoria duo (by making them fat)

Are there Confederate rebels amongst the convicts exiled to Malifaux? Did any of them ride with Quantrill? according to the fluff- maybe not (I don't have my book in front of me) the first opening was in the late1700's and then again 100 years later... in the late 1800's the events of the first opening would have changed our known time line and created diffrent issues- for us Americans, a diffrent foccus other than the rights of states to trade openly with other countriesimport slaves and the civil rights of all American people to be free could be a completly moot point not to completly digress and hijack, but with the exception of Marcus, there seems to be no other characters of "color"
Sliver Chocobo
I would like to see a neverbon crew based on Naga (hindu snake people) I imagine they would be pretty slow moving, but able to climb move over any terrain with out penalties and be amazing in mellee (most naga have either 4 or 6 arms)
G. Footman
Also what if there was a person who didn't have any powers, who's crew we're devoid of the use of soulstones. Sort of like an untouchable, resilent to magic, etc. maybe could even go a step further, make them walking dead zones for magic, abilities that mostly dispelled or nullified the spells of other crews as far as the civil war, maybe the breach closing kicked off something similar, only instead of being over seceding and slavery, it was over control of the soulstones earthside, the real life civil war would of been before the breach in the malifaux timeline reopened right? or am I off? always sucked with dates in history Edited March 10, 2011 by G. minmax
I haven't read everything but I think the Guild should make a Horseman that allows other horsemen without point expense. I think it would be cool to have the 4 hourseman that way. Guild= War Res= death nev= pestilanece arc= famine Add what ever little nothings for minions. Maybe the master can have for each horseman add a special to team. Ie res would add undead, nev add nephilim, and arc construct. war himself...something. just a thought. Yazza
i'd love an arcanist master with total terrain control (board builder myself) summon, remove and shift around, maybe slam it into models create rifts and hazardous terrain, grow plants, and raise structures forcing the enemy to take risks or plan ahead, while encamping myself think earthbending/arcane architect/mad gardener

I'm not saying it couldn't be done... just ...
Yazza
my image for that master is a disconnected arcane architect driven insane, seeing the world in blueprints and changing them as he goes....

Don't misunderstand me- the IDEA is solid (IMO) but (and please don't feel like you have to defend) when terrain set up, which is VERY subjective and fluid in these games... is part of the Masters abilities... I see a major roadblock
G. Footman
if Malifaux has oceans or any big body of water, maybe a Nemo themed master, he could be either arcanist or guild if he was Arcanist, more water themed magic he could bring in, give him some sort of fishman or deep one minion, maybe he has a special rule so he can control silurids. or have some kind of sharkmen Guild, maybe some water abilities still, and guild in old style diving suits, either one could have for a larger minion, something like Bioshock Big Daddies
Yazza
I know, terrain control is very powerfull. I think it can be balanced, but still it would be awesome And i do think we need mor aquatic minions, right now justsilurid?

Dorian
I'd like to see a guild anti-spirit / Woes master. Call him Egon Venkstan. Set him and his crew up with some weapons made by hoffman that are powered by soulstones. It would accelerate them & fire positively charged soultons. They could add counters if hit by multiple models to do more damage but the more counters the higher change the beams could get tangled and cause bad things to happen. Perhaps something along the lines of the Earth Benders from Avatar the Last Airbender cartoons. Could be a good way to bring in the Ten Thunders that Misaki belongs to. Abilities simlar to Warmachines Mk 1 Cygnar Warcaster Major Marcus "Siege" Brisban (i.e. the board height control from Foxhole and Higher Ground), the Swamp creation abilities from some of the Hordes Models, and perhaps the Waldgeists Uproot spell. As for ocean themed minions and such, I would definately would like to see some of the polynesian cultures myths pulled into Malifaux. Omenbringer
Am I the only person thinking a bayou Kraken would be cool Great idea, though please no more gremlin specific hunting bonus' (the little guys already have to worry about watching the sky because of the damn birds). Will only endorse this if the Neverborn get a Stapuff Marshmellow Man to counter Mr Venkstan (perferably mounted on a one time only special sized base about the size of a large dinner plate with a minimum Ht of 12")
Sliver Chocobo
Great idea, though please no more gremlin specific hunting bonus' (the little guys already have to worry about watching the sky because of the damn birds). they probaly will, I do see a bayou kraken being a Neverborn model, I personly would like to see two made, one a 40mm base and the other on a 50mm, personly a like these to be an alternative model for the terror tots/young Nepilim to grow/mature into. Also on antother note a number of Daredevil Gremlins that have somewhat 'tamed' these Nepilim and surf/skateboard behind, with every turn making a control check or the kraken eats a gremlin. It might end up with a rule saying it make at least 1 walk action each turn, so the gremlins (which I call bayoue surfers) can up the momentom and well stay surfing
Jonas Albrecht
Since the Resurrectionists are the archeologists of Old Malifaux, I think we should get an Indiana Jones knock off. His gimmick could be mummies and script immunity.
