wrabbit37
Hey - I just got my LCB and Dreamer painted up last night. Well, actually my fiance painted up LCB while I worked on the pumpkins and the Dreamer. Hope you enjoy!

wrabbit37
Love the pumpkins! What did you use to make those? Thanks for the compliments! The pumpkins were actually from the Reaper Miniatures site. I was looking around there for some fun things to add to bases and came across them. http://www.reapermini.com/figurefinder#detail/02992

LoboStele
Awesome! I love the pumpkins. I got my LCB almost finished last night. Just gotta top-coat him, and attach the Dreamer to his shoulder. I'm excited seeing the various custom bases people have come up with for theirs. ispep
Great idea for the bases. I especially like how The Dreamer has pumpkins, and LCB has Jack'o'lanterns.
wrabbit37
Thank you all! Glad you like my pumpkins/jack'o'lanterns thing going. I love creating unusual bases or features for my models, and these just seemed perfect. I had another idea for my bases for these guys. Never got it off the ground, but if someone else wants to give it a whirl, feel free. I was going to try out a bed on the base for the Dreamer (probably just part of one, given the size of the base), and then have a splintered, crushed bed under the feet of Lord Chompy Bits, like he was the monster under the bed that destroyed it and headed on from there. But pumpkins were easier. Plus, they look cool.
wrabbit37
I envy you - your fiancee painted it. My wife just laughs at my 'army men' Oh, my fiance laughes at me and my army men too. But she loves to paint, though, so she'll do that part.
AvatarForm
Nice work. I dont plan on playing LCB for a while yet... mainly to let the kids at club learna bit more of the rules and get used to it before throwing in some of the new, complex masters. I picked up 2 of the GenCon LCB, one for painting, one for later.
alemon
did you use putty to fill in the gaps or did I build mine wrong?
leagionair
did you use putty to fill in the gaps or did I build mine wrong? yea i used green stuff to fill in my gaps .most of the big figures u have to use green stuff with because of the gaps they form in the molding prossess. AvatarForm
I have not asembled mine yet, but was warned some needed to completely rebuild the tail with GS. I only pray for good casting on mine when they arrive.
KirigakurenoHaku
I love the copper chain mail on the Bits! It looks good with your colors. Edited August 24, 2010 by KirigakurenoHaku
wrabbit37
did you use putty to fill in the gaps or did I build mine wrong? No, you built yours right. I had to come in with green-stuff around some of the bits, especially around the chest. There were some pretty large gaps there.
mr_chuffy
Some nicely painted LCB (and crews), can't wait to see more! I may muster up the courage to assemble my one over the weekend (maybe!). Keep up the good work guys
Zephir
I finally got the chance to look him over in person. That picture does not do him justice. Its a really good looking model.
wolfhead
I know this is an old thread... but it's interesting what you did with the head... putting it on upside down. I just finished priming mine and will be painting it shortly. I'll post some pics when I'm done, I'm new to this and more very slow.
