  1. It's pretty awesome how the only opinion you are allowed to have on these forums is a positive opinion kissing someones ass. Kind of a shame, since I thought Wyrd were more than just a sheeple factory.
  2. Continuing with the off-topic turn this thread has taken, you are best served staying away from Pandemonium. That festering sh*t hole will ruin your desire to play any games at all. Brad is a great henchman and an awesome guy, but the stores ownership doesn't know anything about successfully running a game store.
  3. $15 seems a bit steep for a 3 game league. Interesting concept though.
  4. Throw on another vote for the Model Master Liquid Cement.
  5. If it weren't an hour away, and gas wasn't $4 a gallon (a bit much when you don't have a job) I'd come out and play. I think the last game I played was that one where you totally wrecked my crew in turn 1 with Kirai just after book 2 came out.
  6. Nice read. There were some minor editorial issues, (misspelled words, etc) which I'm sure is just translation hiccups. The interviews were nice. I think the painting and sculpting articles could be a little more specific, but still ok overall. I'll be looking forward to the next issue.
  7. I'm not Nix, but I've been using Model Master Liquid Cement for Plastic Models.
  8. Much better, imo. Although I feel the chin might still be a little too pointy. Looks great though.
  9. I like the face, but it isn't a gremlin face. More devilish/demonic/nephilim? than gremlin. I think part of it may be it's too thin. Maybe try something with a little more plumpness.
  10. ITT: Whiny entitled kids didn't get their stuff as soon as they ordered it. Film at 11.
  11. Nice crew Brad. It's a shame it'll be wasted at that cesspit you do your Henchmanning at.
  12. The last 4 cans of GW primer I've used have been a complete waste. Spray maybe 5 models and the cans just stop spraying. One of them the nozzle clogged despite following standard practices for keeping it clean, and nothing would clear it. Also went on way to heavy, dusty, and just all around bad. And it wasn't just a bad lot, as 1 was white, 3 where black, and they were all bought at different stores/at different times. Been extremely pleased with Krylon Indoor/Outdoor Primer. Cheap, covers well, hasn't given me any trouble at all. Did I mention 1/5th the cost of the GW garbage?
  13. Honestly, if you have a local game store, I'd probably just stop in and pick up a pack of 50mm bases. They aren't terribly expensive, and the extra's can be used for blast markers, tokens/counters/objectives, or just miscellaneous modeling projects.
  14. I think what you mean is "Some Pig"
  15. Is the Rail Golem unique, rare, or so points heavy there would be no reason to have multiples?
  16. He makes it look so easy I was somewhat disappointed at the lack of "happy little squirrels" though. They got trees and clouds, but no squirrel love?
  17. I'm torn between a nice full Tom Selleck style, or a simple, classic John Waters. http://mobro.co/ispep1982
  18. The key to abusing sable brushes is The Masters Brush Soap. That stuff is a block of pure miracle.
  19. You go ahead and use dozens of cheap synthetics for a year, I'll use my 3 moderately priced natural brushes. And then we can see how much cheaper the synthetics are.
  20. Once again, I'm not the organizer, and probably won't be playing, but I'm going to go ahead and say there is no painting requirement. There will most likely be a best painted award of some kind, but it will be something extra as to not exclude those who can't, don't, or won't paint. I'll get some official info and get back to you guys.
  21. I'm pretty sure its going to follow the Gaining Ground rules. I'll poke Tim in the good eye and see if I can get more information. You can find links to the Gaining Ground documents in the sidebar to the left.
