Sholto
A couple of pics of my nearly-finished Executioner. He is pinned to the base, and both arms are pinned as well. I only needed a small amount of greenstuff, to patch the gap in the hose for his left arm.

dgraz
Very nice. I like the belly hair. I have a little CC - I'd tone down the leaves. 1, they wouldn't be that healthy looking on the ground. 2, They're much brighter than the Executioner and they draw the viewer's eye away from him. SwordOfJustice
Wonderful! Agreed about the leaves. Cheers, Sword
Omenbringer
Love the metals. very well done. Over all well executed. Aside from the leaves, I would tone down your lighting setup when you take a pix. It looks like you are starting to wash out the fleshtones a bit. Flikfutch87
Very nice. The Executioner is one of my favorite models - I dig those claws.

Sholto
Thanks I agree about the weeds on the base. I expect they pop so much because I used ink to shade them, whereas the rest of the model was shaded with GW washes. I will dull it down and the varnish should knock the shine off. The metals were done with a basecoat of thinned down Vallejo Gunmetal, and then two washes. The first was a mix of Tamiya Clear Orange and Badab Black wash, and the second was a spot wash with a watered down mix of Vallejo Brown and Black inks. Final highlight was Vallejo Silver. The lighting is a bit too bright. The fleshtones are darker than they appear, and the belly hair is more prominent. I will put up pics when he is finished. Sholto
Excellent piece - damn treasure trail is disturbing. I had to look that one up on the Urban Dictionary - cheers How did you do the metal on the claws? Take a look at the post two above your own X-tremely nice "snap" to all the colors & tones. Beautiful job! Thanks. A white primer makes all the difference on these minis, I find. Sholto
