Gremlin Luv
I am quite impressed with all the high quality miniatures out there, but I do enjoy having painting logs of my stuff up so...here we go! They really are no where near the quality of of the miniatures on these boards, the rest of you really humble my painting abilities!
Gremlin Luv
Some more!
DireTrollJake
They look great! What kinda wash are you using?
Gremlin Luv
Thanks for the response! I always loved the inks from GW but they stopped making them. So i switched to their new washes, which are great, but didn't leave the effect on the model I was looking for. So I use Vallejo brown ink mixed with devlan mud GW wash and a pinch of badab black. The skin gets straight devlan + badab then receives pure devlan mud before being highlighted a couple times.
Nick
They're looking great! Really like the bright colours you've used! Keep up the good work!
DeafNala
DANG FINE LOOKIN' FELLAS! WELL DONE! :fing02:
Cenotaph
These look fine, nice choice of colours and all the details shows through just the way it should. :coolpics:
Kagelong
They look better than a lot of my models, so don't feel ashamed. Fantastic work on the skin by the way.
ork56
nice work, the wood grain effect on the pitchfork is v. realistic
Peterdita
I hope the good minis people show don't discourage people to post whatever skill level they paint minis at. It's all about fun and learning so I'm glad you posted. ..and they look great! what are you talking about! The lines are very neat and the minis look sweet. Keep em coming! Brushmistress
Man, I'm not sure why your so down on yourself over the painting - these are great (and they have more paint on them then my gremlins!)! I do miss the old GW inks, but the new ones have their good uses.
huntroll
I don't see what's wrong with these minis, they're great for playing. Nice variation of colors, good shading... The bases seem a bit plain to me (a swampy base or even some grass would make the look of your gremlins even better), but otherwise they're pretty good. Gremlin Luv
Oi! I'm sure glad you brought that up! I will be flocking the bases, I just need to get the long grass to make reeds, or I will use aquarium plants if I can find some I like. I want to try and get my banjo layer Cletus done tonight, my hootenany isn't a hootenany without music!
Keltheos
Look good! They're all painted, which is more than some players (present company included) can say about their models!!
mriverakc
They look good. Painted minis are always better than unpainted ones.
acid_gaming
They look great. I always find these sorts of miniature hard to paint as i hate a restricted brown palette. But you models have nice contrast between colours and great shading/highlighting. I reckon they are better than my Gremlins and I think mine are pretty good. :top:
Gremlin Luv
Do you have pictures up somewhere acid? I'd love some inspiration!

acid_gaming
Do a search for posts made by me through the link in my name. I would link it but I have just gotten home from night shift and am feeling lazy. These new pics are even better than the first lot. I definitely think yours are heaps better than mine. Darkover
Very solid table top standard. You don't need to be ashamed or anything. Keep up the good work! *sign* This is definitely good work! I like Your minis a lot, no need to hide them! I would only add a little bit more details (grass, mushrooms or stuff like that) to complete them. Happy painting!
Gremlin Luv
OMG mushrooms! PERFECTION! Time to see if I still got it going on with the greenstuff.
DangerousBeans
Dude, stop being a %^&^&$%, these are great! The only thing I'd suggest is putting some matt varnish on them to get rid of the shineyness
