Peterdita Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 I give up resisting any longer, I'm in! Quote
EricJ Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 I think I'm obligated to stay neutral...however, they do throw the best parties in Malifaux! Quote
TheLemondropDan Posted July 11, 2009 Report Posted July 11, 2009 You obviously haven't been down to the gremlin's farm. They put on a goooooood time. Quote
Jabberwocky Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 I'm in! I never really liked the Guild anyway, despite all indications and every post I might have done since the game was announced that might suggest otherwise. I have no interest in the Guild any longer. Really. Quote
Jabberwocky Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 So...what do you think is the weakest part of the Arcanist's defense, anyway? I'm just curious and trying to learn about my new favoritest faction! Quote
TheBugKing Posted July 12, 2009 Author Report Posted July 12, 2009 Much like AoM, Jabberwocky, we keep your kind around for kicks. Ever wonder why you can't remember the end of the parties you go to? Well there is usually a target practice session towards the end when everyone is hopped up on Soulstone laced alcohol a few spells get shot off as well as demonstrations of the latest steam powered pistols. Well it's obviously no fun if you don't have a living target of course. We just rebuild you after and bring you home. Just be a bit more careful in the shower would you? You are no longer rust proof. Quote
Gargathor Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 The arachnids, Razorspine Rattler and Steamborg have long been on my list. [sigh...] The game's not even out and I'm on my second faction:flaminghe Quote
Angus Khan Posted July 12, 2009 Report Posted July 12, 2009 AARG: a new kind of life insurance... Quote

nerdelemental Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 So...what do you think is the weakest part of the Arcanist's defense, anyway? They suck on the battlefield? Quote
TheBugKing Posted July 13, 2009 Author Report Posted July 13, 2009 They suck on the battlefield? Which is why there is a whole political war going on. Because if the Arcanists were good on the battlefield we would have completely wiped out the Guild who happen to be even worse on the battlefield. Ahh well. Training and more lab work I guess. Quote
TheLemondropDan Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 Keep fightin'. Mah pigs'll clean up the bodies. Quote
AoM Posted July 13, 2009 Report Posted July 13, 2009 It's a good thing Rasputina has been co-opted as a double agent by my craft Guild ways, sir. We saw the plate you put into Loco's head. That wasn't very subtle. Johan might have solidarity with his M&SU brothers and sisters (as any good union man should), but he farms himself out to the highest bidder, and the Guild has very deep pockets. (Don't let those patched up Ortega coats fool you.) As for Nerd's comment, while Ramos and his spiders might be completely worthless on the battlefield , Rasputina is a force to be reckoned with. As I've said, as long as you're not siding with those damned Neverborn, the Guild is willing to look the other way for quite a lot these days. Quote
Scorpio Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 So...what do you think is the weakest part of the Arcanist's defense, anyway? Basic hygiene, I heard. Quote
Angus Khan Posted July 16, 2009 Report Posted July 16, 2009 Basic hygiene, I heard. True, but too much cleanliness can also be a bad thing... (Sonnia and Perdita come to mind, right Nerd? ) Quote
Angus Khan Posted July 17, 2009 Report Posted July 17, 2009 hey, that thread was totally clean! That's certainly one way to look at it... Quote
CrazyBones Posted July 30, 2009 Report Posted July 30, 2009 I'm in. Ramos and his steam minions were impossible to pass up. Quote
