Flame Alchemist Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 Hello, Just dropping in to say I'm new to the forums so hello everyone. Just one question...... and prepare to smite me down...... what is wyrd? I've played both 40k and Fantasy for several years now, and whilst stumbling around the old interweb I found a minature which I found rather strikingly nice and notice it was from wyrd minatures, is this it's own brand of game? or is it just very nice minatures........ in short.... what the hell is going on? :wtf: Quote
Ritual Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 For now, they're just very nice miniatures. But, there is a game in the works. A skirmish game for small groups of minis. Stick around and you'll find out! Welcome! Quote
Hinton Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 Hi there. Welcome to the boards. To answer the question....hmmmm...... While Wyrd isn't a game, there is a game in the works called Malifaux. For more information about Malifaux, there's a section of the forums here: http://wyrd-games.net/forumdisplay.php?f=32 Maybe Frustrated Father, the founder of Wyrd, can better answer the question. DrEvilmonki Posted January 1, 2008 Report Posted January 1, 2008 Maybe Frustrated Father, the founder of Wyrd, can better answer the question. Although I would doubt it! Quote
Duende Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 :welcome: to Wyrd, Roy Mustang. Wyrd is it's own line of miniatures with a skirmish style game in the works, and it's rather different from the Warhammer large army style games by Games Workshop. Check out the Store to see all the Wyrd goodness! Quote
Nathan Caroland Posted January 2, 2008 Report Posted January 2, 2008 Yeah, what they said. Welcome to Wyrd! Hopefully we'll have something out soon here to whet everyones whistle for Malifaux and other related product from Wyrd (cracks knuckles and gets off lazy butt to get everyone in gear ...) Quote
