I'm with the above as far as critique goes really .. These are sold love the converting and the painting .. The Ortegas look dead spangly and a great group .. looking forward to seeing how the rest of lev's crew progresses.. wish My First's on the list of firsts for you were as good first time out ...

cool straight in with painted pics .. welcome aboard.. not a fan of the writing on the sides of the bases although nothing wrong withnaming your guys .. maybe if it was a little neater it would help or maybe I'm just a grumpy old git who doesn't like graffiti ...liking the overall feel look forward to seeing what comes next.

well he's already walking around with a flame in his hand so hiding is out of the window so lab coat it is ....lol .. nicely done I just like the verall look of this group very much and the spider walls are right up there as a moment of something a lot of folk will see and copy ..nice one.

man the game is pretty fresh out and the FAQ and errata ate a massive chunk of next step deveopment work... after all the questions leading up to the book release haven't folk yet got used to the stock answer..... YES there is and always will be more stuff ... There are a very hardy and very very very busy bunch of folk putting stuff together fleshing out creating new and polishing old stuff constantly .. it WILL all come out when it is ready and only when it is 100% ready .....It WILL be more than worth the wait and will happen as soon as is humanly possible ... relax enjoy and play some games write it down and develop your own fluff with that and let folk know about it .... time spent prepping and showing teasers is time not spent finishing off new goodies......

and most men who play the game feel their masculinity being challenged by a chick who smokes n battle while wielding a sword that size....

definitely disturbing undercarriage.. really nicely executed work there. I also agree with you on the quality of the Kraken and Artefactory stuff....not seen this one on their site yet??? not seen anything new on there fr a while as it goes...

prett much what you said .. build up the base a little..you can minimise the amount of putty you use by usin stones orsimilar to bulk out... It is one of those awkward little moments.. I usually remove tabs on most minis and pin them into mases and both snakes I've done have been heavily converted from their original pose so not sure how bad it is,,,,but a slight raise in the middle of the base should see you right

clean up.... get rid of all half finished unfinished unstarted projects.. sort and organise the collection and pick out pieces that really grab you as you go along. clean the paints out and replace any needed .. same with brushes and all other equipment .. It's amazing how different it feels to sit at a desk that is cleaned of all older stuff with just the piece you want to do there...cleann mixing pallettes clean water pot new models and a new positioning of light etc. other than that just chill out. There are more important things in life than painting take time out and enoy them.. I play with the little one and his star wars toys as well as just get out switch off and not look at anything mini related it comes eventually.....

I guess it depends on what you can comfortably pull off .. I personlly think the bio hazard symbol is a funny option suitable for the subject.. that said a nice skull looking like it is a smoky effect would also be pretty sweet...mind you your avatar would loo good too. I can't wait to get a hold of one and am too already thinking what I will put on there ...one thout I did have was like a leering face similar to the mask in the disney film (snow white I think) ya know mirrror mirror on the wall... certainly a fun little spot to personalise a big model...

the whole 32mm argument has come up here a few times as well.. Guys at the club say oh... 32mm and expect the models to be bigger than GW's "28mm" but in general Malifaux minis as Nathan has said are generally taller and thinnner as opposed to bulked out Uber warriors tat seem to be the order of the day these days.
