Nathan Caroland
Looks like Jen Haley sculpts as well as paints. 2006 AdeptiCon limited edition miniature.
Mosch
OK. So, where is it?
Nathan Caroland
Chicago I think. Miniature you get for showing up to the convention. I'm sure ebay will be flooded with them.
LeadAsbestos
I don't think it would be that hard to sculpt a little red x...
supervike
Adepticon? Chicago is just a short 4-5 hour drive from the Supervike Compound....
EricJ
it's pretty nice, although I think the head it too big
Pr0fane
One thing I will say for Ms Haley, she is a consumate artist. It was always a pleasure to work with her paintjobs because the photos were very well done. ...oh...and she looked pretty good in a latex outfit. I'll agree with Eric, the head does seem a smidge large. Interesting genre she's chosen for her first (?) sculpt. Looks like it'd fit in a Harry Potter diorama, non? Patrick
These are some figs she posted over at the Reaper forum in November. I saw a first run casting of the Mongol barbarian chick at Reaper last week. It is quite cool!
cdukino
yeah the sculpt is rather Werner like (especially the first)... but I don't think that's such a bad thing. It's hard enough to sculpt good figs without haveing to take into account you don't do something looking like an existing sculpt AND/OR not looking the same sculptingstyle as an established sculptor. I've been "blamed" for making Wernerlike sculpts (especially the faces) too. But I definatly don't aim at that and I think had I not known Werners work I would have very likley sculpted the same (looking at my style from before even knowing what miniatures were ) Not making excuses... just telling the reason I don't bother to change my style forcefully despite the comments (though mostly possitive ) But I must say I really love these Haley sculpts and I would deffinatly love to have and paint them. If I can get them that is.
Ritual
I quite like all of those! I wouldn't mind painting them! It seems Jen is an artist to be reckoned with when it comes to sculpting as well.
vincegamer
The last 2 look very realistic, though I'd like to see more angles on the bottom one. The first is too like a PP mini I used to have, and the head is as large as the torso from waste to shoulders. I'm not sure the head is too big or the torso is too small, given the length of the legs.
Celtic Lilly
She seems to be talented all around! Hate her. :tongue2:
