tpryan01
Has anybody built the 120mm (and 50mm?) that factions can create in TOS? in fact, has anybody built any terrain for TOS? I would love to see it here.
retnab
No, but I'm planning on using the clear orange 50mm bases in some way for Cult Portals. Just not sure what I want on the base itself yet.
tpryan01
Wayward sells some great (but not cheap) portals for their wild west exodus line. (in fact Wild West Exodus terrain is perfect for TOS)
Beetle941
Im liking the idea of using 120mm bases as blanks to create minefields, tide pools, smoke clouds, etc... I was thinking about using the 50mm blank bases to sculpt "flat" portals on since units can move through them and end a movement on top of them. Its slightly more than 2D and not quite 3D, but it keeps the game playable while looking a little nicer than just a flat token.
Inefficiency_Expert
At my friendly local gaming store they have a pretty solid Warmahordes community and one of the guys who plays Gatormen there had a pretty cool solution to his need for large deep water tokens. He found glass petri dishes of the right size and half filled them with clear epoxy before adding swampy elements like twigs for fallen trees and tufts of long modeling grass. I'm thinking of trying the same for tidepools but with sand and pebbles to make it beachy.
Nef
I suggested to a local for their portals sculpting something with a magnet in the bottom, and the "flat" base having a magnet too so he can have a 3D portal that can pop off for gameplay purposes
