I was pretty sure that was the case but in Sidir’s case the Attack Action is named in the description and the damage track is the same at the MI attack in both cases. That's just an artifact of how the model's rules were organized in 1st edition. In that edition it was much more "flip Attacker and Defender and act like this was an attack with this weapon".
