Figures attacking themselves.

Good evening!

I have a small question while playing with Zoraida and the Voodoo Doll: Can a figure attack itself with one of it's attacks (such as the voodoo doll after giving the Sewn Fate condition to an enemy model then attack itself with the Pins attack to inflict the damage to the Sewned Fated target ?

Models can target themselves with Tactical Actions, but not with Attack Actions.

I can't think of any instance were it is possible purely because as Dirial said a model cannot target itself with attack actions.

There are some tactical actions that a model could do to themselves which would hurt themselves, (Black blood postules for one) but a model is not allowed to target itself with an attack action. So Johan can not remove a condition from himself as his rebel yell is an attack action.

As such I don't think there is much for the voodoo doll can do to itself once its cast Hem. But Zoraida is great at adding conditions to the doll. . Or it can just sit near enemies with them knowign if they hiit it, they hurt themselves, or you can attack it with your own models.

For reference P 38 (2nd column, 4th paragraph) has the rule about not attacking your self.

My Transfusion upgrade says it's a tactical action.
