If you can find a place where in the rules it mechanically seperate the terms to be from different steps, sure. But as it stands it feels like you're applying mechanics where none exist to my knowledge. From my understanding a model does not suffer any damage until its been applied to the model, in which case damage reduction always happens before damage is applied.

So say the jury is at 2 health and takes a hit for 5 damage. Would her df trigger ping back 5 damage or 2? I ask because in the damage section it states that any damage that would bring a model below 0 is ignored. Her trigger specifies that it bounces back an equal amount to what was suffered. Since she took 2 damage and the rest was ignored would it then only bounce back the 2?

So perdita can summon now which come in with some fairly potent upgrades that helps tailor the crew for dealing with specific enemy types. There's a literal anti zoraida/obey upgrade 😂 will this new perdita help the ol family see some play?

I'm in the camp of determining all traits and then resolving them rather than being able to add or remove them during the course of resolving the action. It just seems like less of a mental tangle to deal with and at least to me feels like the intended function. I do agree that it will likely need to be faqed.

Study of anatomy tells you do resolve effects on a model based in the characteristics the model has. New shtooks scheme markers can apply a trait of your choice. If I have a undead construct that's within range of a scheme marker and use anatomy on them with the intent of giving them living.. Are the characteristics checked at this point and then applied in order, or is the action constantly checking for this characteristic and if the model moves outside the range of the scheme from the construct effect now no longer eligible to recieve the living effect?

Basically pulled off a similar effect to this when I first tried kirai. This version is super fun to play.

So wouldent enkindle the cult basically make it so anytime an enemy would hit her and she would die anyway she can just enkindle on herself so the enemy doesent count as killing her? Basically making it so turf markers can't be flipped to neutral on her death? Also makes it so death beds can't be scored on her. If it said "chose ANOTHER Friendly model in range" instead it would get rid of all this but I can't comment on if this was the intended use lol

Oh boy. Schill has all sorts of funky crazy nonsense he can do now. Like trunk gives schill rocket boots upgrade and walks forward. Schill leaps forward, tosses the boots back to Hanna, discards a card since he's next to the trunk, gets rocket launcher, uses the rocket, tosses that back to a friend, then uses foul mouth motivation to give someone focus and then gives himself shielded 2 from another upgrade. Both models he tossed upgrades to also gain shielded and now he still has 2 ap left for whatever. Obviously theres alot of room for creativity and various contexts for how best to use his new kit.

That would be a wild change up of things.

Maybe they will get a different hive upgrade? End up with two different ones and you can chose the old will of cadmus one or a different one.

Giving out suits to burning 3 friends makes a good chunk of her keyword hand out burning 3 per hit due to the double blaze trigger.

I see. It was just super jarring going from "resser friends unite!" to "you killed my resser friend and so I'm using your dead boyfriends corpse to mess with you!" without hearing the events that tied that together lol.

So I've been making my way through the podcast but I feel like I've suddenly missed something. Is the story covering nicodem and the original judges death been covered in the cast? I just listened to lilith getting locked away, ramos getting captured, and collodi getting dismantled.
