@Stranglelove great job! thats the first fully painted company I've seen. I'm just finishing up my first warped fireteam so I have a long way to go

I only edge highlight the hair if there's lots of it, usually just base coat, wash and then bring up the prominent areas with a few lighter shade highlights. Then add a bit of shine where the light would hit Eyes I only do if their a reasonable size, otherwise i just put a bit of purple wash in the sockets. Glowing eyes I find a lot easier as you can come out of the lines. To be honest though I'm just painting to put on the table where you never really see they eyes anyway

These look great, it'll be nice to have a whole book dedicated to your faction and all in one place. If you don't wanna buy all of them but want to read all the fluff, I'm sure there'll be people in your metas that will lend you theirs

This got me thinking about an Addams Family project using wyrd minis Queeg as Gomez, Montresor as Lurch, Amelia Bathory as Morticia, cut off the side hair and Governors Proxy as Fester, Datsu Ba as Grandma, 1st ed Candy as Wednesday and not sure about Pugsley... Left hand of the flesh construct as Thing!!!

@PetitDalek I got the brick sheets from a model shop in central London, can't remember the name, I think it was 4D models maybe? but I've seen it online from ebay and other model shops its very thin so i had to mount it on some thick card to give it a bit of volume above the sand

Some great work being posted this month! I've been struggling to find the time to paint as I have a lot on, but I managed to get some coats down on the Warped. I also did some bases for my ECB Black ops

My workstation is also covered in cats. Every painting session is a battle with airborne fluff, I have to have a pair of tweezers next to me at all times to remove fluff from models and paints

@Caedrus here's my final minis for the month total 40ss. Was hoping to finish Jaakuna and the Crooked men too but I got the flu and instead spent all weekend in bed feeling sorry for myself, on the side I have a bunch of half done minis for next month Also... Jaakuna and the Crooked Men is a great name for a band!

@Burnin' Coal Yep I didn't realise quite how big the titans were till i saw one in the flesh... well the plastic

Can I make a suggestion for costing other side models? Scrip costs don't really pan out the way ss cost does. For example a unit of warped costs 9 scrip, thats 9 models. A unit of stalking portals costs 3 scrip, thats 6 x 50mm large models. My suggestion for costing TOS models would be (per individual model) 30mm base = 5ss 40mm base = 7ss 50mm base = 9ss Commanders = 15ss Titans = 20ss I know there's only a couple of us painting TOS at the moment but would be good to get a consistent scoring method for future participants. What do people think?

Your Anna Lovelace is awesome!! Well done! I bet she'll really pop on the table The base edge is really cool idea but I agree you should go with plain, I think at the moment it detracts a bit from the model

Just finished prepping the bases for next month's painting shenanigans. It was so nice not to have to build these from a million tiny pieces for once

@Diddick Great job, love the glow on the bases. Both colour schemes look awesome. I Really like that they're different to each other too, I think I'm gonna do mine in 2 different schemes as well seeing as I can't seem to decide on colours for them

Next month I'm thinking about painting some Other Side stuff. How does scoring work exactly? So for example the warped are 9 scrip for a unit (a unit of warped is 9 models) and I assume 5 for an adjunct model means 5 for every other model in their unit. So a unit of warped would be 49 stones worth? 9 (for 1st model) + 40 (8x5 for other 8 models) Or am I just making this way more confusing than it is?

Finished the Guilty Really enjoyed doing the electric on the chair. So that's my pledge and stretch goals complete!! I might even try and throw in some crooked men
