  1. So the cloning of another Kimberly is complete? Your location lists you as right behind me so now I am worried about how many where cloned... Congrats on the new role, our interactions in the past as shown you work hard at your job and it is nice to see you rewarded for it.
  2. Some frank honesty like I have come to expect from Nathan. Either way I am sure Wyrd has done their best even with trying circumstances. I am sure a ton of people stopped collecting once M3E was leaked for fear of what was to come. I don't think Wyrd could have handled a who edition change any better. First they didn't screw over the majority of peoples collections of models even going back to first edition. Second they released all the cards and rules for free making barrier to the new edition none existent and a no brainer (looking at you GW). Hell you even leaked your own rules early which I am sure helped out those with launch tournaments this weekend. Third you where honest about what was being delayed on release and why. Can't really ask to much more from Wyrd at this point.... other than to release Bayou Bash 😛
  3. Thanks for pointing that out, I have used that site before but never built or printed a list with it. Wyrd should honestly just hire him to do web version as it is mostly done already.
  4. You can already get the alt sculpt (plastic version of M1E metal) that has her without the face mask. There is also another metal alt without the face mask. PS I own all the Sonnia's, I like the avatar one the best.
  5. I think all this thread has shown to me is everyone has a very different taste for art. I tend to think wyrds new artist is really good. Some more "static" poses fit in nicely with models from the past versions. Most of those are considered "static" if you go back and look at them too. I still think the Malifaux line as a whole is very unique and looks great on the table. I am sure a lot of the complaints of being hard to put together and highly breakable on the table pushed some of the new designs to what people are now calling "static". I have a feeling a lot of playablity went into the new mini designs.
  6. I think you have mistaken maintain for develop. Once the interface is written weird would be able to add new cards rather easily. I have seen the beta crew builder app but since using the card layout and graphics would be impossible due to not owning the IP I but worth the idea that it may be something for wyrd to look at. They already have app developers on contract so it would not be outside the realm of something they could pull off. A simple web applet page would be needed and would alleviate the bottleneck of putting out cards for all the alt models they have ever made. That is unless they have already done all those cards but the feature would be cool none the less. I myself made a couple custom cards for M2E but that would leave it open to abuse. Having a page to generate the card would make it so no one could modify the stats on the cards. I don't think weird should let people develop apps against ones they have already put money info (though I have loved crewfaux for M2E). It could even be part of the app but printing is more difficult from a mobile device.
  7. Since the rules are going to be available online and not all alt models and old models are likely to have cards soon. It would be great to have a little web app where you could select the card you want, upload a picture for it (you could even take a picture of your own mini) and then it would give you a jpg or pdf that you could then print out to play with. It should be fairly easy to maintain and would give everyone the ability to create cards for models that they use multiple of to tell them apart.
  8. I believe it was said in the past there there will be cards for all models in the current line all the way back to alts in M1E. I could be wrong that is the plan going forward though. Even if it was my guess is they won't be there at launch as they have enough on their plate. As much as I would love cards for my Dead Justice Models I am ok if I have to make them on my own. This has been the best edition change I have seen in any game in a long time that is trying not to screw over their customers for models they already own so I am sure we will see something down the line. Maybe some card templates would be cool so the community could make them so wyrd wouldn't have too?
  9. Ohhh soooo much hype! So many good moves you are making to support those that have been with malifaux for awhile, new players and retailers as well. All will be paid back in kind for looking out for all of us. The fact that you are letting us old timers buy the missing models in new crew boxes just shows you care about your existing player base. Don't forget it might be helpful to have stickers for models that have changed factions like the malifaux raptors or McMourning crew boxes. In short if Wyrd delivers on this it should build great trust with your retailers so we can get more stuff on the shelf and into peoples hands. With the rules beta you have shown the community you are listening to what they are saying and changing things. I think M3E will be a great starting point to make Malifaux even bigger than it already is, great work.
  10. I too am still waiting for news
  11. I can think of a couple kits that should have been keeping you guys running for decades
  12. Wow it is like you all forget about the limitations of mold making. Of course the render has to have a thicker cloak, otherwise how else are you going to get it to come out of a high yield mold. I do think he could have a bit more bend at the legs but the stiffness makes him look like he just slid up behind someone and stood there like he was there the whole time.
  13. Thank you Mason for listening to all the posts in the M3E forums. I am sure you put M3E in a great place to continue without you and hopefully it was not the straw that broke the camels back towards you finding new ventures in life. Whatever you do and where ever you do it, enjoy it; there are only so many hours in a day and so many days in a lifetime.
  14. I too am still excited for this game. Will be great fun to play with my kids.
  15. Someones uphappy about the deadmans hand...
  16. Best of luck Kai. If you can deal with this community, you can deal with any jury
  17. I absolutely love everything except for one small part. The umbrella just doesn't do it for me. It looks like it is still primed black. The freehand work is also amazing.
  18. One of my favorite Wyrd models and possibly the most interesting crew to paint. It was also a joy to assemble and paint the new wyrdscapes graveyard base. I hoped to do the whole crew with a diorama I had planned but family life got in the way
  19. I think I just got a pumpkin idea for this year...
  20. Since uncertainty is so high communication is key at this time. Likely from retailers as well as customers. There seems to be a growing number of people that don't trust in wyrd (I am in no way one of those people). I think we can face it that last years release schedule was horrible. Model release dates changed and over a year later some models had still not come out. Some more information in one highlighted place would likely have answered the issue for retailers and customers alike. Personally I am accounting it all up to growing pains but a year in wears even my huge fanboy shoes thin.
