  1. Yeah I noticed the same thing. Would be really nice for Wyrd to chime in on what on earth is going on with it and wether that 113 days is actually correct.
  2. Pretty much what the title says. The book is available for purchase, so how long do you think it will be before we can expect it in the app? : )
  3. Ohh for sure, But if it is more "Which keyword would be most likely to win a game in the hands of a very new player" and not "most beginner friendly crew" then I would say the all or nothing nature of the all in crews is actually a big plus. Freikorps I feel is a very good suggestion as well since they are so versatile and mostly self reliant.
  4. If the rest of the faction is not a consideration then I would say go with guild. The only thing I find that ES brings for Basse is Flush with Cash since it is pretty sweet with traps. And yeah as others have said Sandworm and trappers for sure. A single rough rider is also good. Maybe you can get lucky and find a mccabe player who has one for sale? I rarely find that any crew plays more than one anway.
  5. Aua Warrior + Bellhop Porter could potentially be a cool way to spread some shielded around
  6. I thought these were both supposed to release this month, but all of a sudden I see both of them with a 30 day estimate on Wayland Games. Anyone know what is up with this? I can see that it is not all september releases that got postponed on Wayland, so it doesn't seem to be an error.
  7. I guess it makes sense you anounce every time you qualify, but it is still a very clunky way of doing it..
  8. Playing with the scheme "In your face", I can't help but wonder why on earth it isn't scored immediately like the scheme "Vendetta" When the round is over I am very unlikely to remember if a model killed was withing 3 of a master or not. Shouldn't this get errataed?
  9. I think it can have its place. Mostly if there is a lot of hazardous on the board since it is pretty good at moving enemy models into it, while staying away itself and it can also be ok if there are some schemes that require enemy models in a certain position. Looking at it in a vacuum, it is a pretty weak model though.
  10. As the title states, which summons do you feel are required to own in order to play Zoraida2? Personally I feel the Shadow Effigy is really nice to have access to, but do you feel like there are others? (Also, curse you Wyrd for not making Red Caps summonable)
  11. I think I had played 2-3 games with Ivan 2 before someone pointed it out to me. And that was only the Daeva thing, it then took a bit longer to realise that charging also didn't work. Why do you ask ? And it might be spelled out in the FAQ, but if you don't notice it, then it is not really something you look up in the FAQ as you just assume it functions the way you think it does.
  12. I think you are very much reading into something that is not there. I never complained that Ivan 2 is too weak, I just said that his abilities do not work the way that one would assume they work and I feel this is a design error. That said, even with the upgrades I still feel Ivan is among the weaker ES masters, so I doubt he would be broken if he got "fixed"
  13. Because reading the card you would very much assume that they work so Daeva can attack and you can charge with the Turncoat model. The Daeva especially seems to be intended to attack on summon. It is only when you find the relatively obscure rules interaction with it not technically being an activation that you realize you can't, which makes me think that this was not intended.
  14. I honestly feel very convinced that both these scenarios were unintended. It is also a pretty weird interaction that is extremely easy to miss for most players.
  15. So I recently realized that due to Ivan 2s upgrades being used in the start phase of the turn, "once pr activation" abilities can not be used since it is technically not an activation. Daeva can not use their "made to kill" and a model that is targeted by "Turncoat" can not charge since charge is also once pr. activation. This seems very unintended to me and I really hope that it is something that will get fixed in the future : /
  16. The ability Infiltrator on Operatives and Klaus is Ruthless on steroids, but I was wondering if there were other abilities or weird interactions that ability has that might not be immediately obvious. Does it grant Dont Mind Me? Can a model with it relent against an enemy attack ? Are there other things I haven't thought of ?
  17. I have been looking a bit at EVS as Maxine 2 strikes my fancy, but I got wondering... what exactly can the keyword do ? They seem great at using cards and a lot of general combat abilities, but when I started wondering what scheme pool to take them into I came up blank. They dont' interact, place scheme markers or are very fast so I am pretty unsure when I would actually use them ? Any tips ?
  18. Quick question, if I have a tactical action that fails to meet its TN, but I have a trigger with the clause "After resolving", will the trigger then still happen ?
  19. Thanks for the feedback. How does she work with Anya 2 btw? Can a model drop a scheme marker and then discard that marker to Yannics ability while summoning a drudge ? I am confused about the order since the drudge is summoned into base contact with the marker, but I am unsure if the marker is already discarded?
  20. So now that the models got spoiled a while ago, has anyone had any hands of experience with Yannic and the riflemen ? I was initially very quick to dismiss them, but looking at them again I see quite a lot of potential actually. Riflemen has a pretty solid attack and automatic ping damage is often very good, so Stand and Fire seems decent as well. Yannic looks mediocre at first, but Inginuity seems like it can get a lot of stuff done. If you have the high cards to spare, her gun can actually also do quite a lot of damage.
  21. Very interesting to read some of the comments here. Especially since a lot of the masters called out are not the ones I would have been expecting. Also, before titles I would definitely have agreed that NVB was in a poor spot, but I feel that a lot of their titles are very solid and I am surprised to still hear them mentioned as weak. Also, could someone please explain to me what makes Yan Lo 2 and Mei Feng 2 considered so strong ?
  22. So lord Cooper treats Runaways as being enemy, does he still recieve the friendly fire penalty for shooting a model engaged by a Runaway ? I assume so, but just wanted to make sure. Also, Hopeful Prospects say "You must discard a card, then draw a card". If you have no more cards left in your hand do you still draw? Thank you.
  23. This might sound very counterintuitive to Ironsides, but DON'T take a brawl inside Jedzas bubble. You will lose. Either push/pull Jedza away or pull out individual models that you want to kill (Ironsides should be good at this) Seeker is a very strong keyword, but if you take out The Damned then their movement is very limited. Try and work that to your advantage. Good luck : ) P.S. Remember not to heal around Jedza.
