  1. Hi chaps! I just started using the show off upgrade in Somer lists. I find it fun and fluffy! I imagine it like the gremlins carry explosives and when they are in a difficult position they hand them and run away! Hahaha. I would like to "power game it" as well tho. I see a lot of potential there (and apparently i have to paint less models )! I have some topics to discuss my forum friends! - Burt!! He is immune to pulses! - Any tricks on how to use this upgrade most effectively? How many gremlins you think realistically you have simultaneously on board? - I know that the stupid arachnids and the stupid friecorps are immune to pulses.. (they are not stupid but just try to be funny). Do you know any other models with this type of immunity?
  2. What should really happen is: wyrd release a card arsenal with the errata changes for 5£. Instead of expecting from everyone to print and vault and whatever. And the collective cards should be mailed and replaced by tge company. The changes are welcome and fixing problems. But they create anxiety and chaos since the game is card bases. There should be a replacement plan instead of a generic idea.

  5. Hi guys. I really want to have rooster riders in my arsenal. I love every single rule of these models. I find the models too large! They are even bigger than gracie. I was thinking to convert a raptor. Any ideas?
  6. Hi. I got an idea i want to try with my warpig. I experiment at the moment with ulix lists that have only old major as a big pig. so i let 3 scheme markers turn 1 with trixie and old cranky or some piglets and i call the pork with ulix first ap. then i summon 2 piglets from the warpig. then ulix (0) proper care. so the warpig is with 6wd left. so old major nudges the warpig for crows and the warpig heals with every attack for the turn. then the warpig charges someone and most of the times heals 2 times. so it mitigates the damage fast. hope it work for you as well!
  7. I just bought my rooster riders! Pretty excited! Haven't tried them yet. I did some thoughts and i believe that Mah can take the best out of them. They are suicidal minions that harass and you either deal with them or they charge your weaker minions or enforcers. They give time to Mah to position and advance. I would say that a single r.r. is probably enough. They can also be good in every list that goes elite since they dont consume cards. Somer is probably the second best master to host them. He needs a turn to get some bros so the r.r. can cause some problems until then. They can also cover a flank and take some fire before burt with some stuffed piglets come. This faction has so cheap stuff that if you reclessly sacrifice 6ss you dont really care. Plus probably they will kill or at least soften one or two models. I feel like blind for not using them before. Pig list can host one of them as well since he can follow the crazy charges and punish pig killer. Generally the pigs dont kill. Just tie down models. So r.r. work well.

  9. Hi guys! "Eat your fill" ability says: after killing or sacrificing an enemy model, this model may heal all damage it has suffered and end its activation. I don't get the "or sacrificing" part. Where is the "or sacrificing" part refering to? If a warpig reduces to 0wd a model that has a variety of an ability that says "when this model reduces to 0wd ... sacrifice this model", then the warpig or gracie heal? Thanks guys.

  11. The dirty cheater card states "in the model's activation". so technically at the initiative step is noones activation
  12. Hi chaps! I am experimenting at the moment with Trixiebelle as an aggressive scheme runner (if you allow me the expression). I let her pick up a scheme from old cranky and go reckless turn1. walk tow times and drop 2 scheme markers. turn2 go reckless pick up one schemearker, walk, interact for one scheme marker, walk, drop the other one. boom. convict labour is down and Trixie is there to push people away from it. concidering that trixie can cheat for her lure (especially when cheating to lure friendly models) and she likes going reckless (she is a naughty girl... what to say) i find "dirty cheater" upgrade very useful on her. she just going reckless for free as long as you can spare a 6 (card) to lure one of your models. with a little set up you can either lure some gremlins towars the centre, or push a pig 8" away to someone's face. i tried it only once and it worked. any ideas? any flaws on this idea? anything better to generate free ap? please let me know since i love this little monsterous big-bazzoka lady and i litterally use her in every single game!
  13. Hi guys. We all have noticed the funny references wyrd chooses for malifaux. Lenny is peting a piglet like Lenny from "of mice and men" was peting rabbits.. Ulix has a pig crew like Odysse whos crew was turned into pigs by Circe.. Old major is .. old major from "animal farm".. François although mimics Francisco, he also stands like Clint Eastwood.. Post stuff you noticed and you liked. Mostly for gremlins but you can post for other factions too.

  15. @Blacks85 hi! i wanted to ask because i am new as well. the 2 warpigs are needed or just one is enough? i mean realistically is it easy to summon both of them in a game?

  18. Hi guys! I tried it and i Iiked it. Iagree that it feels formulated. I didnt do well in the tournament but not because of the 2 teddies. I played vs asami/molly/somer. So all 3 games were close but i had 1 draw and 2 loses.
  19. Intro Hi guys! I play malifaux for since February 2016. I started with neverborn and tried Collodi, Lilith, Pandora and Dreamer. I ended up playing only with Dreamer and enjoying a lot thematic crews even in tournament competitive environment. I ve been in 3 tournaments with not great results but with the last being significant better that the other 2! Topic I ended up loving the presence of Teddy and Widow Weaver around Dreamer. Everybody who played with these models knows that Teddy kills but he dies fast. When my Teddy dies he draws fire from 2-3 models turn 1 or turn 2. So he gives the opportunity to my Dreamer to afford some space to summon. Thats why i will start hiring 2 Teddies. So the second one actually makes it into the heart of the battle, or even better if my opponent's crew split fire between them, both of them make it into mêlée!. I bought the past days some more boxes of stitched together. I used to summon 2 at the tops. Now i have 9 of them and i also have a handfull of wicked dolls. So the next piece of the puzzle comes to play. My favourite Widow Weaver will utilise the scrap markers stitched provide to create some wicked dolls for activation control/healing/poison shenanigans or one late Teddy to take care of some enemy models. This doesn't prevent me from summoning my other favourite summons (insidious, twins and copelious). This idea focuses on old school spam techniques, blocking parts of the board and mobile soft cover for the miserable df my crew has. My word... I will attend to a tournament these days to check it under pressure and hopefully catch unaware other players. I will also try it with the local champions that i do respect their advice. I will let you know how it worked! If you have similar ideas or tried something similar let me know!
  20. Hi chaps. I am trying to play only dreamer at the casual games or tournaments i go. I can't understandhow to play dreamer at the 'collect the boundy (jokers)' strat. It apears to be standart in every tournament as the 3rd game. They usually combine it with killing schemes. Any ideas how to equip that earthside kid to fight against the murderers of this strat? I tried to focus on schemes and tie the strat 0-0 but always something dies and i lose vital VPs from the strat. Anyone tried to do the start with restless dreams upgrade? (I play almost exclusively with the dreams of pain upgrade)
