  1. Basically, on a long enough timeline, you're going to get all of them. Steam would be the best for general gaming, Quarantine for keeping things urban for now, and Bayou for the Gremlin lands and oddball magic and Pursuits.
  2. Into the Steam would be additional machines and magic. Into the Bayou also has magic, but it's more Voodoo/Bokor stuff (which is still pretty good)
  3. I'm just here for the complaints... er... comments...
  4. It doesn't need to even be a game book. It could just be a standalone fluff/setting/history book. Like when GW published the Liber Chaotica - nothing but cool artwork and writing. You guys are making this a lot more difficult than it needs to be
  5. Hey, after Into the Bayou, I have full confidence in you. *fistbump*
  6. Sounds legit. Also, it wouldn't "eclipse" the Malifaux setting because it becomes the bridge between Malifaux, Through the Breach and The Other Side. If anything it fleshes out both sides of the Breach. I'd pay for a book like that in the $40-$50 range if there were sweet maps and such.
  7. Maybe just a history of Earthside between the First Breach and the present day? Socio-political stuff and what not? Maps?
  8. Because cults tend to have uniforms, from the simplest robes to the heavy fur clothes seen here. Plus, pockets are a necessity. You don't have pockets without clothes.
  9. Our group is a bunch of jerks, myself included, because "it's us" - if the spotlight player dropped the ball, they would never hear the end of it... myself included lol They like the unexpected, and being made to think on their feet rather than knowing its going to be someone's chance to shine. Keeps everyone on their toes, and make sure no one gets to take a break from the action. We had that problem in another system - if it wasn't Stealth or sniper shots, he wasn't involved, and became more of live NPC than party member. Now, everyone contributes every session, even if it's just some toolbox skill rolls.
  10. I am not telling players when their Destiny Steps would happen, because they wouldn't know these things in real life. I am, however, writing small events around those players in narrative form to give them subtle hints when the moment comes.
  11. Too bad I already have Lazarus. And gave him a cowboy hat.
  12. Too bad you don't accept volunteer work without having to relocate to Georgia So much free time *stretches out at work*
  13. There are players who don't already buy everything? *shock*
  14. My predictions for GG2017: 1. Some players will gripe and cry about their favorite Masters not being as effective anymore. 2. Some players will be happy their favorite Masters become better at certain Strategies and Schemes. 3. Someone will post about "when can we expect to see GG2017 cards for sale," and others will chime in despite not being necessary.
  15. Gremlin culture is instantly fascinating. I applaud this book. And now need to run a Kythera-based treasure hunt campaign once I finish running Nythera.
  16. Also note that dynamite isn't the only explosive. Nitroglycerin was invented in 1847, dynamite in 1867, and gelignite (gelatin blasting goo) in 1875. Happy blasting! (yes, I already did research for my own campaign writing)
  17. Yeah, not sure how these would play out. It would be better to just make the cards into a thrown weapon at that point with its own rules, but realistically the maximum effective range for a thrown weapon like that would be 6 yd, like a throwing star.
  18. Wait... I AM?! Someone owes me a childhood lol
  19. Trust me, I share this pain. I am designated game-runner all the time. I haven't actually gotten the chance to play in years.
  20. Rent due tomorrow. Holiday bonus should be Friday. This probably will work.
