  1. Where do we find those new versions?
  2. Ah okay, thanks. makes sense though it seems weird they didn't specify on a stand alone upgrade. I would also think it was max Flicker +3 but the wording made me unsure. Well for being summoned + eating the scrap at least, with the new upgrade Asami could give it more I suppose. The suit thing says: "it may lower the value of its Flicker Condition by 1 to add a suit of its choice to final duel total."
  3. 3) Why do you assume it DOES decrease like Flicker on summoned models, and that she can be sacrificed by going through it too fast? Wouldn't they mention that on the card if that was the case? I mean: They write the full condition effect multiple times on other cards to make sure people know it's the same one but nothing about decreasing or sacrificing is mentioned here.
  4. Wrath of the Oni ability: Friendly Oni can deal 1 damage to Asami to take the (2) Charge Action as a (1) Action. I assume this means you have to make that Charge right after damaging Asami? (And not: damage her, take a Wk action and THEN charge with your second AP.) From the Maw They Come: Minions are summoned with Flicker +1 and then all corpse and scrap markers are discarded to give a maximum of Flicker +3. Does this mean a model being summoned near 7 scrap markers will end on Flicker +4 because it has a build in +1 and can get another +3 from the scrap? Or does it end on Flicker +3? Borrowed Time Upgrade: Flicker +7 This condition doesn't have the same description, so this doesn't decrease and the end of the turn, I assume? The Flicker being spent for suits, is that 1 use pr action or could you lower the value by 2 and gain two suits for that action?
  5. I always thought Mei Feng was a SHE. AND monks are just cool with Shenlong, I'm gonna play some games with all kinds of monks, just because. There are 4 kinds of monks, right? Low, High, Fermented, and Wandering?
  6. Ah okay, so first one can be damage prevented but even without damage the condition would still stick at least. Thanks.
  7. Shenlong can punch and give the following condition after succeeding: "This model may not use soulstones." So, after succeeding is step 5, just like damage. But when is damage prevention? "After determining how much damage the model suffers but before applying the damage." The question is: Can Shelong apply this condtion to an opponent and thus prevent her from damage preventing that very attack? I would guess yes, since damage prevention must be the very last thing, after triggers/conditions/damage have been determined?
  8. I get the impression that most models Wp are determined by the roll of a D6 +1.
  9. Why does this not last until his next activation like normal?
  10. Amazing ability. He can actually be a real Matrix-Neo and dodge almost anything. Now I just need another 19 games with him, to reach 20, and I will be comfortable with all his stuff.
  11. Thanks, perhaps you can answer this one too: High River Style lets Shenlong raise the duel total by up to 3 "immediately before determining success". So is that after both players have cheated? Or if I cheat first with Shenlong, I also decide then and there to damage him in order to add 1-3 to my duel total, and then my opponent decides to cheat or not? If it's after both players have cheated it's like Mr Burns-excellent!
  12. The perfect stumble reads: "When this models is targeted by an Action, it may lower its Poison Condition value by 1. If it does, it gains +1 Df for the duration of the Action." Being targeted by a charge is an Action but so are the 2 following attacks, right? So does he lower it by 1 when charged to have +1 Df against both attacks or does he lower it once for each attack? (If he wants and can of course) Flow like water: "This model is immune to damage caused by Conditions..." I assume this doesn't help one bit against Blight, since the Condition itself doesn't damage him but Bleeding Disease damages him? It only works on Conditions that do the actual damage, like Burning and Poison, correct?
  13. Yeah, a shame really. A gun twice as big but doesn't have better range nor damage.
  14. I bought Fuhatsu, almost done painting him. I like the model although a cannon like that should be a bit more impressive IMO. With focus his normal Steam Gatling Burst becomes decent. Not Envy-good but decent I think. But does anyone ever use Steam Gatling Burst? A (2) Shooting action that can't be cheated. Sure there is the possibility for blast, and an additional shot if you have thrown a soulstone in the mix, or KNOW there is a red joker(or high RAM) in the top 3-4 cards but apart from that, it seems not worth it?
  15. I see your point. Hmmm then base contact became important I suppose.
  16. If only Emissary is standing there, with an enemy model, you don't need to randomize, since Emissary doesn't count as being engaged for Rasputinas abilities.
  17. That's what I thought but wasn't sure when models were lending it. I assume it's still only Misaki who can make use of stalked since she has the upgrade though? Sensei You can't choose to move closer to a stalked target, correct?
  18. Thanks, another question for Misaki: If Sensei Yu is in her crew, and he takes her (0) action to stalk opponent A, will that condition end if Misaki took that same (0) action against opponent B, or would Sensei Yu have to take the action again, for the condition to end on opponent A?
  19. So, if Misaki makes a Bisento attack, and uses her last soulstone to purchase will she then have for this attack since she now has no soulstones?
  20. Good point. Still don't like that molehill though, but I stand corrected.
  21. Paralyze has always been very powerful IMO. Often better than high damage output. But some models kind of "shrug* at paralyze when they can use abilities like nothing happened. An undead belle making a robot attracted to her is weird, yes, but at least it's consistent, she waves panties at men, an oil can at robots and God-knows-what at other things. Just like incorporeal movement is the same for all models etc. I mean, I see what you're saying, and playing it RAW certainly makes it just as easy as the way we've been playing it but when allowing active abilities on paralyzed models, some models are almost not punished by becoming paralyzed while others (most) are... well... paralyzed. Plus you can't even Obey a paralyzed model to take a simple Wk but if that model happens to have a non-action ability, paralyze suddenly has no effect? Like the Tanuki.
  22. I agree that passive abilities like blowing up makes sense to stay active. We've always played like they are. But Perdita pushing into safety or a model choosing to end it's activation to place a scheme marker and count as 2 models seems "not very paralyzed." In my group a paralyzed model can't choose to do anything at all, that might not be RAW but seems very RAI since a paralyzed Perdita choosing to push 8" is a very active thing to do. Doing things that aren't really actions on a paralyzed model reminds me a lot of the good old saying "it doesn't say I can't."
  23. I did once! 0 cards in hand and 1 infected enemy!
  24. I seems weird to me that a model can't perform any actions, not even (0)-actions and has no -range etc. but can still do other things that might be just as good. This would also mean Perdita could discard a card to push 8" towards a friendly Family model along with countless other abilities on other models that aren't concrete actions.
