  4. haha, what a concept. And thanks for tattooing that butt shot on my retina.
  5. lol, now there is a sight. Good job
  6. This is wonderful. You've got some nice warm/cool contrast going. And that shading of the pink with the blue was a nice touch.
  7. Did someone say "Brutal in PInk?" That model is the last one I ever thought to see in that color, lol. NIce
  8. @Bengt - sweet, I didn't realize it was used across more platforms. I have a dual boot set up on my laptop (windows / linux). I despise windows but sometimes it's a pain trying to get something to work in Linux (ubuntu).
  9. that's pretty cool, I especially like the wagons. Are those from a kit or scratch built?
  10. cool man, thanks. It looks pretty good. And you're right, nightmare to paint.
  11. Hey, have you got a link for that? For when it finally becomes available for retail sales, I mean. I'm making up a huge 8' x 4' Arkham Horror board in this style and Victorian age is perfect.
  12. I started painting some mdf terrain and quickly realized how long it was going to take and how much crap it was going to look like. lol. So I found a better solution. Using sticker labels and creating my own textures. Here is the process and result. 1. scan mdf terrain. 2. import into GIMP (linux version of photoshop) 3. Resize IMAGE to 8.5 x 11 with 300 dpi 4. Resize layer to 8.5 x 11 5. Crop layer to whatever current mdf you are working on. 6. Measure in real measurement, the size of the mdf, length x width. Then ensure that the layer is the same exact size in GIMP. Sometimes it is not. 7. Download textures and start overlaying. 8. Print out on Avery full label sheets. 9. Apply to mdf (start with interior, cut around all edges). If you want window glazing, it is better to put it on the bare mdf first, then apply label over it to hold it. I used plastic card sleeve protectors on the Tavington place and it turned out great. 10. Apply exterior, do not cut the sides, only trim down to maximum width. 11. Use pastels to shade the white edges and add more grunge to the texture. 12. Apply railroad flock, various HOpe all that makes sense. I'll have more pics of the others soon and of everything all put together. The car is a 1:43 Blues Brothers The gas pumps, AC unit, fence, and streets are from World Works Games various paper terrain (mainly Streets of Legend). I will probably use left over mdf pieces in the future to give the signs a 3d effect instead of just on the labels. I really think some old western buildings would look amazing with this treatment. This is part of a bigger Zombie Apocalypse table I've been working on and that's why I've been away. I see I missed the Iron Painter this year - I can't find the gallery to post comments on everyone's work though, anyone got a link?
  13. They added a shanty Town! and it can be purchased as stand alone if you want. Of course I can't get the pics to post here. go check it out, seriously, you don't want to miss it. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1621774283/battle-systemstm-urban-apocalypse-terrain/posts/1378155
  14. I agree, and others have stated the same about the mat size. However, World Works Games printable terrain could also be used to make our own modular maps. A game mat isn't exactly modular, but map tiles would be and the style of their Mayhem line fits right in with this kickstarter.
  15. This is a pretty cool set, might be worth a look for some downtown malifaux (with a little gothic conversion make over to Malifaux it up.) https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1621774283/battle-systemstm-urban-apocalypse-terrain?ref=email
  16. I love how they are trying to hide the dead parts, lol
  17. The site is running incredibly slow for me right now but it could just be my computer. Where's the Hobby Room and forum for all things hobby (not involving Malifaux directly). Terrain building, Gameboards, Painting Tips, etc? That Terrain Building Resources list was especially helpful.
