The new hidden Agenda is pretty sick..after the upgraded model succeeds at an attack, Oiran in LOS get Fast and Focused +1

I have it the new arsenal deck, its' very strong now. EDIT derp, misread the card. At the end of the turn, archers within 6 of the model can allow archers a free (2) attack action. So with 3 archers you can get 9+3=12 attacks total. It's pretty good. Also, you can discard it to have archers move up and get defensive.

I recently picked up Crossroads at gencon, Sensei Yu is a man.

I noticed when I looked that there weren't any Through The Breach events at Gencon. Am I just bad at finding things, or will there be no Through the Breach events for Gencon?

Ah right. A Spirit Master Yan Lo would want a Sensei Yu nearby for easy Fast in order to get off two Fury of the Yomis. You could also pull it off with a Student of Conflict, but I think the Soul Porter is too good to switch out.

I think TT Is precisely a good faction for this purpose, your opponents aren't going to know what sort of crew you're going to field. Also, many TT models are premium, and you can run all kinds of unexpected synergies. McCabe can be strong with TT Archers, snipers and dragon. Izamu is very ugly with him. Toshiro does really well paired with any crew that uses many minions. Shen Long is not dual faction, so if you want to use him, no other options. For Yan Lo, there's Misdirection. Graves and Sensei Yu can be very strong, acting as 'transport' options for Izamu, and Yan Lo.

Wow, Lure + Traps is a good one, I'm gonna want to try that..

If you're having trouble against Shenlong, the Ortegas are very good against them. Despite what he looks like, Shenlong is more of a support master, he's not nearly as outright killy as Rasputina, Seamus or Perdita.

A key thing is that a Dawn Serpent is not an Ancestor and can't be rezzed, which is really powerful for Izamu + Yan Lo. I feel like Dawn Serpent works better with McCabe, who can give it reactivate.

Komainu don't grant tomes to friendly models, instead Ancestors grant tomes to Komainu

They are good against melee lists or lists with melee components, unfortunately most of my last few opponents have played all shooting lists. (Ophelia, Perdita) Against shooting lists they are kind of suck, at that point I'd rather field Onryo or Komainu. That doesn't mean they are bad, honestly all shooting lists are fairly rare and facing Ophelia and Perdita twice in a row is just skew.

Well, of course, at that point we just have the option of shooting them with our Laugh Off Models while they're all spread out.

With TT you could build a weird Anti Belle list with all Laugh Off/Braced models. Any Leader Any Totem Fuhatsu Sidir Ototo Sensei Yu A major problem of course is a lack of any minions. Here's a list of models that are NOT Laugh off, but could be 'anti-belle' and are difficult to lure, or make it harder Huggy with Endless Hunger Yin Oiran Torakage + Smoke Bombs Dawn Serpent Yamaziko Models that are good tactically against Belles Katanaka Snipers (Outrange Lure) Tannen (Don't want to be lured) Another tactic is to close the distance quickly with strong melee models, TT has many 'push' effects that allow you to get a heavy like Izamu up close and personal. Imagine something nasty like Graves pushes Izamu, that gets pushed by Soul Porter, that gets pushed by Sensei Yu. To deal with clusters of Belles we have Yan Lo, Misaki, Mei Feng, Yamaziko, Fuhatsu, Sidir, all which loves jumping into a tightly clustered group of minions.

Yan Lo is awesome.He can basically bring back an ancestor at full health+ no summoning sickness. Think about this Izamu attacks, dies Yan Lo goes, brings him back, heals to full. With +3 chi this can be very easy. All you need is an 8 with a soul stone, plus a high card for the heal. Chiaki goes, removes Slow from Izamu Izamu goes again. It's crazy. Remember you can do this at ANY corpse marker near Yan Lo. My only issue with Yan Lo's crew is Toshiro, mostly because he competes for high cards and if you're going all ancestors, you can afford maybe like 2 minions. I think Yan Lo could be stronger as a Resser, because YIn + Unnerving Aura can be a pretty nasty combo. Also "Maddening Laughter" Can work because the CA can be increased by Chi.

I used Izamu with McCabe and he's just stupidly good. You can get him up to Armor +3 Regen +2 Nimble with Wastrel healing. If your opponent doesn't have anything that ignores armor he's absurdly resilient.

Of course, disguise only works if you're fighting a melee centric crew. It's not going to help you against the Ortegas, or most of the Guild..

WHile pathfinders are good, I don't feel like they have any kind of particular synergy with Lynch. If you take one you're taking it based on it's own merits.

I would suggest Fudogs but that's already taken by Komainu.

Why such hate for Yamaziko?I think she's great for cost, she costs the same as an illuminated or sniper..

Looking at release schedules this guy is coming out soon. How do you think he'll play with the rest of our crews? I think Moon Shinobi are great of course. Unfortunately they're not really compatible with Toshiro or Kang. Graves: Push the brewmaster in the enemy's face Yin: Negs to WP attacks Sidir: Makes the Brewmaster even more durable Sensei Yu: Even moar drinking Fermented River Monk: Obvious, plays better with Toshiro/Kang Also, Pick Yer Poison works as an unlimited Obey that costs a card on your own models. So that can be pretty nasty. Even better, Apprentice Wesley can do it too. So there's that.

What about Shenlong? He has a tyrant type.
