  1. I've played them, and I like to think I've made good use of them, but paying the full nine points is just deliberately handicapping yourself.
  2. To be fair, with the blessed at 9 and Miranda at 8 I can't think of a single reason to ever field a blessed as is.
  3. One of the best parts of playing ressers is access to some of the best rank and file mooks in the game. It's right up there with practically every master being able to take a semi truck to the face and laugh it off. You could play with just spirits, but Kirai's summon tends to benefit from having a few wound banks lying around and most of those tend to be undead or living. Not to mention you would be missing out on plenty of opportunities for Ikiryo abuse. Its not like you wouldn't be playing with spirits, those bastards show up inevitably, its just that you don't start with so many of them on the table.

  8. Honestly, distance seems like kind of a moot point here. Whether its 6'' or btb isn't going to make the ability feel any less swingy.
  9. Believe bury is at end of turn, at which point it takes half its hp. There's a relative degree of protection in being buried, but a weak damage flip between the summon and the disappearance could easily bring it down to htk. That assumes I have the timing right. Hypothetically this could also get crooligans, autopsies, or drowned. Not much of a point to summoning a crooligan that can't interact. Autopsies are solid. Drowned aren't shabby but their primarily tanky attrition pieces, dropping one that will cut itself in half and remove itself for the game for a bit seems counter intuitive. So the money shot here is the punk. According to Rat there's something there that allows hiring wretches and nothing beast in resser. This is certainly nifty and much appreciated. The underlying problem here is that it brings in a new set of tools for Tara to use rather than augmenting the one's she already has and to that point actively prohibits the use of one of Tara's bigger thematic beat sticks. It just seems a bit weird that the solution to tweaking the nightmare edition Tara crew is to tell everybody to buy a blister of autopsies and a box of punk zombies and use those instead. Edit: I like Molly. I have zero problem playing Molly or her toys. I just didn't think her toys were what was being addressed when people were making threads about Karina and Tara.
  10. Honestly we don't know what the hell we're talking about here. I'm happy to admit that, but until we get some concrete rules text were pretty likely to engage in the usual internet apocalyptic speculation-doom-gloom cycle. If you'd like to give us the details they would be much appreciated.
  11. Big Hat has a ludicrous 18'' range for a reason. It's not that hard to get los to the enemy master.

  13. The solution to Tara's signature stuff being inefficient is to play with Molly's signature stuff instead. The solution to Tara being too upgrade dependent is to take a free upgrade on a totem which requires another dedicated upgrade slot on Tara. Think I have to be missing something here.

  15. Different strokes I guess, but the 'standard' Hana looks amazing to me. It's got this Mazinger/Giant Robo thing going on that I love. Its got a bit more dynamism than the ttb sculpt, which I appreciate. I don't anticipate that I'm going to be playing Hana anytime soon, I don't have a crew she realy fits into, but that's a mini I'll be getting just for the dumb joy of putting it together and painting it.

  17. Jesus this game's art is getting dark. Not that Ryle was ever chipper in the first place but the gimp/cenobite look is definitely not an improvement.
  18. Raw wise, I think yes. Intent wise is muddier. Given the last wave of pre-errata was pretty much intended to stop exactly this kind of thing from happening its something the devs don't seem too keen on.
  19. Second Som'er with encouragement. Big man has an uncanny knack for working well with just about every henchman we have.
  20. Gremlin magic can't even keep gremlin models intact. Can't see it being that much more affective for arcanists.

  24. The box is pretty much just Kirai, kirai's spell effect mooks, and two reasonable summoning targets. So in terms of whats likely to be put towards a list its 50 for Kirai and just Kirai. I'm lucky enough to already have some of the other junk I want to run with her, but no shikome, no gaki, and no Datsueba kind of hurts. Edit: Alright maybe I'm crazy but I like the graveyard spirit sculpt.
