For the containers I did something similar. I printed on regular paper then cut styrofoam blocks to size then folded the containers around them to strengthen them for play.

I have to say your stuff looks great! Marcus' skin tone and highlights are beautiful and I really like your Infinity models. You really did a great job on the white areas (tough color to work with).

Rule question 2e - target model dies do you still discard?

OK, the first part, "after damage", if the model was killed it obviously took damage so first part fulfilled. The second part, "target must discard a card if able", the target model never has cards, its the player that has them. I believe the wording is to clarify which player discards. So as I understand it, yes, the player would still discard a card if they have any. - Ninja'd -

I believe when nothing else gives an order to things like this, the active player decides the order of the abilities. I could be wrong, just going off of memory. -

Not to speak for the OP but I usually paint the color I need then place the water effects over it or for more depth do it in layers of paint, liquid effect, paint, liquid, etc. The best thing to do is just play around with spare bases (or even the underside of bases works). -
Welcome to the game. The Red Chapel gang was one of my first crews and a good place to start into Malifaux.

They look very nice, I especially like the hair on pistol Vik. Could be the angle but it doesn't look like the eyes are painted and kind of takes away from the rest of your paint jobs.

I went with a Casino/conceptual base on mine. Lynch, Huggy, and Beckoners on poker chips, Illuminated and Depleted on cut dice, and Graves and Tannen on cards (aces and eights) on green velvet.
