If you're getting lucius, take some guild guard or hounds. Nothing annoyed me more than having lucius and no guardsmen models.

My WS are my favourite 4 point model, especially nice with my Ortegas when I can shoot them to explode on my enemies! I am yet to get a handler, but I look forward to taking them. Not sure where to fit them in over Santiago or more WS though, are they better in higher points games or for specific lists?

A crew creator app could be beneficial for newer players who can't do it all in ther head, with some of the "tad" more complex things: daydreams, guild hounds etc. I'd certainly appreciate one. Also I just bought an iPad so that would be lovely.

I don't have an opinion yet as I'm yet to buy any plastic models, but a guy at my LGS said that his Lazarus looked like it lacked character with poses. Something about the pose of "I'm a little teapot". I'm looking forward to seeing some of the other masters and models that were book 3 but unreleased (aHoffman anyone?). Surely that should be good as it's an important model to show the company's skills?

I think it's changed from purist Ortega lists to a more flexible mix. I'm realising she is good with a few family members plus other minions. Therefore, budget wise, it could make sense to just by her, totem, Santiago, Francisco and fill the rest with your other acquisitions.

Can someone explain the Protect Chain to a newbie? I used the guardian yesterday with Lady J and my opponent was commenting on how he didn't think it works well with Hoffman. I'd like to be able to go back to him and disprove his thory.

So is it better to take Desperate Mercs? I took some with Lady J yesterday and it was nice to heal Santiago who was at 1 wound back into his sweet spot of 4 wounds. Are they a wiser investment in Family lists? I get out activated a lot so to even that I would support either model.

I'd be interested to hear how warden will work with aHoffman. Will he be nearby or off on its own completing objectives? Bodyguard?

I'm really looking forward to seeing how they work in aHoffman lists, as he'll be the big target. Do you think they'll shine there?

I think Sonnia Criid is a good deal different in terms of representation from Lady Justice, or as she's known down my LGS, "Lady J-boobs". I think, from looking at the fluff, Sonnia Criid could have been written as a man or a woman - there is no gender issue in her being badass and interesting to like.

This is all based on my current playing experience as I've only just got the Ortegas (apart from Nino) and haven't used them much yet. Witchling Stalker - I managed to completely shut down a Rasputina crew with these guys. I hardly had to use my Ortega models. They're cheap and very good in combat for their points. I also managed to kill Ramos with shooting from one, not even their best attribute! Nino - he single handedly managed to kill aSeamus. Watcher - so much utility for only 3 points. Santiago - such a cool looking model, he's like Nino with a shorter range but more power. I know he'll be making most of my lists now. Peacekeeper - I love giant robots. I can't wait to get the Hoffman box and use him. Austringer - one I haven't used but I know in games I've lost I would have done much better if I'd had one. The lack of a need for LoS is a great benefit with the terraclips terrain I've been playing on lately. I can't wait to go crazy with a few and Lucius. Death Marshal - whilst I haven't had any game winning moments with one yet they've always been solid and I know I would have stopped a Leveticus crew if I'd only remembered they are intractable.

I'll be buying my Hoffman box just in time.. to destroy these abominations PIP PIP!

Well I'm missing a few screws to start with. As for the puzzles, I think there's one or two for the other guy.
