  1. Obvious one but I often focus once per turn abilities. Ie. Seamus' flintlock Reason being that I don't have the option of simply shooting twice.
  2. I don't think the internet is completely to blame. There are so many people who will say one thing to your face and another behind your back. Honesty and forthright communication are totally out of fashion at the minute. Confrontation is frowned upon so heavily in society that the internet is one of the few outlets where you can get away with frustration spilling over.
  3. I usually like to have some way of generating a corpse counter first turn when playing seamus. The reward of a cheap belle or doxy is usually going to be worth the investment. Can be done with Mortimer, a dog, or any henchman with corpse bloat. I sometimes put corpse bloat on seamus, although you can't drop and summon in the same turn using this trick. I base my decision on which to go for on the strat/scheme pool, and what else I will use the model for during the game.
  4. Oh I see what you saying. Sorry miss read that the first time The point of calculating the mean is that you know in the vast majority of cases the +flip is better than a +2 stat increase.
  5. While I was at it I worked out the mean value of a -ve flip as 5.18. These flips tend to come up mostly on damage flips and so I found the distribution quite interesting on this one. Black = 3.67% Weak = 57.61% Moderate = 30.18% Severe = 4.94% Red J = 3.60% Over 60% weak or BJ and over 91% of results are a moderate damage or less. Really shows the value of being able to get a straight flip and cheat these flips, also shows the value of a high weak damage stat.
  6. Yes you are. Unless you plan to cheat and have a card saved. Even then your burning a resource.
  7. Irrelevant since everyone knows the sample size in this example (0-14), so we know there is no outlying values. Mean is a perfectly acceptable way of measuring the difference, using the median is also OK however it is less accurate.
  8. Ok, I finally got around to working this out. Took me a while as I had forgotten a lot of the math involved that I learnt in school, also the jokers make the math significantly more complicated. The results was that is works out to a +2.33 stat increase. Straight flip mean = 7 + flip mean = 9.33 This assumes a full deck for both flips and thus does not take into account the effect of burnt cards or other game effects that would influence a flip. Therefore the answer to the implied question of the OP as to who is better at shooting, the raw math says that overall Ryle will hit more often.
  9. Actually what the op asked for was the exact value of a positive twist. This can be calculated for certain fairly easily. I don't have time now but I'll have a go at it in a few days. What the replies are talking about is the tactical value during a match. This is impossible to work out because of the near infinite number of sample sizes and other conditions that come into play.
  10. I see bete as a teleporter. Her strength lies in the fact she can appear where needed throughout a battle. She is best used where the combo of strats/schemes require you to divide your forces, or where you opponents positioning is likely to be unpredictable.
  11. Seamus, 2 belles and one doxy (either purchased or plan to summon). Make virtually every list. The rest depends on schemes/strats.
  12. There are some really nice looking minis for zombicide. Not sure of the scale though.
  13. The designers notes in the rule book state that the game is designed to be most balanced at 50ss so we have been sticking with that so far.
  14. Watch season 1 episode 7 of "the crazy one's". Robin Williams fails his WP test to resist Australia's terrifying (all).
  15. Nurse in an emergency since they will paralyze you too. A lost activation is better than being dead though. Or let things die and re summon since summoning is way easier. Seamus can teleport away and hide if need be. Also not as costly for your master to die as it used to be. Depends a lot on what your facing and which master your using.
