  1. nice work as always, those gunsmiths are just begging me to get off my ass and grab the Kaeris box
  2. I love the Alps most of all very clever work there, the fact 99% of ya work is converted in some way is impressive
  3. I use a similar process. but what i did for the pic below is. Painted shining gold over a black basecoat. wash in Devlan Mud wash and let dry. then I watered down Hawk turquoise so it was practicaly water. and applied that to the recesses around fixtures and where I felt the Verdigis would build up. I had to do two some times 3 coats as needed. then to add some variation I would mix a dash of Dark angels green to chage the hue and apply but only in some of the places i had been before to keep the effect varied and interesting. Once done I lightly dribrushed chainmail on parts indicating wear.. end result.
  4. Im still loven the puppets keep em comin
  5. Really liked the way the Crew turned out can't wait to see more of your work
  6. Yeah I see no Sam hopkins in there . Impresssive work there, My neverborn is becomeing close to that in size just missing Zoradia and co
  7. I really Love what you have done with that crew, personally I was not a fan of the whole Dead Justice thing. But what you have done with the crew makes me think twice about it.
  8. Well I has been a while since I been able to work on my crew, but just returning from my first Malifaux tourney victorious this week end. I Had to do a very last minute painting session to get my crew ready for the event. Fortunately I was a Stitched which kept my palette simple. I was quite impressed how it came out given how rushed it is. On a side note while at the event, I discovered there was a painted mini contest. and at the spur of the moment I entered my Desperate Mercenary. To my surprise I won third place. Take into account the winner was a Golden Demon winner, I am rather stoked
  9. thanks for the feedback to think about, the reason I take the Merc for blood combo is so i can generate 3 blood first turn enough to upgrade a tot to mature. As you are correct it is a waste to get it to a young only. I agree that the stitched is slow. but I tend to get Lilith to telepot it up field. etc
  10. Ok I have been scratching my head with some Lilith lists I'm still not happy with them like there is something telling me in my head that they just not right, any tips advice would be nice. set at 30ss (lame i know) option 1 growth: Lilith Nekima Desperate Merc Stitched Together 3x Terror Tots plan is mature in turn one by the usual method then 2 Young asap and killy stuff Stitched there for cover and annoyance if needed, Option 2 Lilith BBS Desperate Merc Lilitu Stitched Terror tot Young Neph plan is BBS, generates the blood via the DMerc, Tot is sacrificed to summon lelu. with this I am fearing that the BBS may become useless after this and I could just drop it and the merc for Lelu and more SS pool.. I don't know decisions decisions please help
  11. Like what you did with the desperate merc, I contemplated adjusting mine. But in the end I kept it standard and just pretend she is just edging along with he back to a wall.
  12. looking good so far can't wait to see more
  13. what a cool idea for a case, may have to pinch that idea for when i finally get to my performer crew.
  14. Insppired by Sholto's thread and a few others, I am having a crack at some of that WWG terrain.. What I have done is taken my two floor plans from the Streets of Himmel and the Sewers. I have had them printed and also laminated to make them both water resistant. This will limit my modular options, but I intend to use this as a base. I also feel I will save heaps on the set up and pack up times as I will not have to assemble and disassemble all the time. I then sourced some signage material to mount the image to. 3mm MDF or ply wood would be a suitable alternative but what I used is akin to Foamcore, Instead of card with foam in the middle what I used is paper thin aluminium with a light plastic in the centre. This will be one light and durable board. I used photo mount spray to stick the image on the board. Prior to mounting the image I cut It in two, for easier storage/transportation. Lastly here is a quick pic with some ruins and a couple of minis. looks good to me so far, This is only just the beginning as now I can look at adding the elevations and other elements to keep it interesting and not just a flat board with houses, hills and trees on it
  15. nice, I really need to get one of those
  16. I'm lovin these almost tempted to get PW
  17. It's been another week and another completed mini, This time it is a Desperate Merc, for my Vikky crew but can be used with my *Cough Cough, Neverborn Nekima builds This was also my first attempt at detailed clothing patterns. I tried to go for a flannelet top. It also is a first crack at weathering powders. I applied a small amount to the lower part of her legs, this surprised me at how much a difference a small touch made to the finished piece. These are some WIP witching stalkers I have been working on. The were done before Twisting fates so i know they don't fit the recent fluff for them but I think they will look cool when I am finished with them
