  1. I agree, it's worth getting for the weight alone, there's a lot of metal in one of them! On the pinning side of things, it's time consuming when you're itching to get some paint on but it's not particularly difficult or awkward. I think it took me just over an hour to clean and pin it and there were some nasty mould lines on it too.
  2. Looking good so far, I particularly like the austringer.
  3. Very nice, having just assembled a peacekeeper I know what a ball ache it is. Final results are looking great.
  4. Great paintjobs, look forward to seeing more.
  5. Outcasts because they suck and it'd be interesting to see how you do with them.
  6. The Lady J box set is a great place to start and it's easy to build up too with minimal extra outlay. That being said, if you have the money nothing puts your opponent on brown alert like the sight of a peacekeeper
  7. I am intending to list it on ebay, it's just so much effort and I'm so lazy. ---------- Post added at 07:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:59 PM ---------- The blood Angels are now on ebay; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160732803071
  8. Nice work, I look forward to seeing how the rest of the crew turn out.
  9. Guess GW stuff really isn't as popular as it used to be!
  10. Black cat do some really nice bases called cog floor (http://blackcatbases.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=444_618_631), they're not too busy and would work well with Ramos. Also if you based any additional guild stuff on plain stone bases they'd blend really well.
  11. Welcome, if you ever stray as far south as York, give me a shout.
  12. Before I discovered Malifaux, I’d planned to pick up Necromunda and 40k again that I played in my youth. I have a 3000+ point Blood Angels army and some Necromundo gangs that I’m now not going to do anything with. The majority of the Blood Angels stuff has been clipped from the sprues but is otherwise brand new (purely an easy storage choice before moving house). The tanks are undercoated and have the start of a basecoat on them and one of the BR Terminators has some paint on it (easily painted over). 40k - £240 the lot (would consider separating) Blood Angels Codex Space Marine Codex Tactical squad (from Black Reach box) Bike squad (3 bikes) Dreadnought (from Black Reach box) Death Company Squad Furioso Dreadnought Tactical Squad Sanguinary Guard Vanguard Veterans squad Assault Squad Terminator squad (from Black Reach box) Tactical Squad Terminator Squad (with Forgeworld shoulder pads) Death Company and Chaplain (OOP) Devastator squad Scout squad Assault squad Terminator captain Chaplain with jump pack Commander Dante Mephiston Sanguinary priest (apothecary) Sanguinary priest with jump pack Landraider Rhino Rhino (with Forgeworld doors) I’ve had a look on the GW website and this lot (not including black reach, OOP and forgeworld bits) would cost roughly £450 to buy. I’d be happy to take £240 for the lot and would throw in a generous space marine/blood angels bits box too. Necromunda Goliath gang (OOP + new gang) – 3 leaders, 4 heavies, 9 gangers, 5 juves Cawdor gang (OOP) – not counted up yet, details to follow Arch zealot of the redemption (OOP) Each gang is £25.00 or swap for a Zorida/Dreamer/Collodi boxset. Arch zealot is £15.00 I also have the Necromunda and Outlanders box sets that I’ll be listing at some point, just haven’t sorted out the boxes yet. PM me if interested.
  13. Welcome, if you put your town in your location you'll probably find locals on here that are up for a game. They're a friendly bunch on here, I think the interest will come back if you're getting games.
  14. Is it a P3 one by any chance? If so, unscrew the handle, there's another bit in there.
  15. I think that is down to your opponent. Fluff wise she is supposed to be a silent one so it does seem fitting. I wouldn't have a problem if you put that on the table but I'm sure there are people that would. As with any proxy, as long as you ask your opponent before the game I don't see that it would be an issue.
  16. Very nicely done, really like the colour scheme.
  17. They look really good, love what you did with Joss.
  18. I agree that it does make a big difference but it's a double edge sword. Yeah you get extra movement which is great for positioning in the earlier turns but you also have to take a wound to get it. He has a decent amount of wounds but you still probably have to wonder if you can really use it in more than 2 turns. Overall he seems decent enough so far but in my opinion he is situational. Against undead, etc he is good but not against living opponents. Fair enough he has reasonable basic stats but 90% of his abilities and spells become redundant. For the same cost you can get 2 Latigo Pistolero or a death marshall + 2SS or a convinct gunslinger. He's great to have in your case if your opponent whips out Chompy but most of my games are against Pandy or the Viks where he is pretty must a corpse counter waiting to happen.
  19. This is a great series, I have a spare copy of the DVD set if you want it?
  20. Guild - Sonnia Criid (purely through process of elimination, I love lady J and perdita, Hoffman offers more options) Arcanists - Ramos (Poor defence same as 'tina but without the damage output and variety of strongly themed minions. Collette and Marcus are too awesome to even consider) Neverborn - really can't choose, I regularly get beat by Lilith and Pandora and haven't played against the others. Rezzers - Seamus (bit one dimensional with SS cache that's too low) Outcasts - S'omer (fun but not great)
  21. Good to see you're making good use of works internet!

  22. If you get some P3 flesh wash and just stick it over whatever you want your lightest bit of skin to be. I don't know how they manage it but it doesn't tint the raised bits like GW washes, it just settles in the cracks and takes a lot of the effort out.
