Alleycat looked at the card that Lydia had grabbed but not looked at before Hayzel had dragged her off. The Tower. With a sigh,he collected the cards and replaced them in his holster. Afterwards he slips into a side hallway and seems to fade from notice. Appearing out of the shadows as Lydia begins running barefoot away from the house,He begins following her,catching up to her easily. "I would guess from your rapid departure that you are after something. Care for a second pair of hands to help out?" Seeing Lydia's skeptical look,Alleycat smiles "I owe Black a favor. Figure helping keep you safe will do well enough."

*grins maniacly* well yes,but that was why I had to first post it,and then bring it up again. Its one of those things that is so horrific that only spreading the misery can lessen it.

Draw a card lovely Lydia,if you would be so kind" He leans in with a quiet whisper,barely audible,and only to Lydia "and if trouble gets startin,the pepperbox in my right coat pocket will be more useful then the stilletto your wantin to reach for" Seeing Lydia's eyes widen slightly in surprise,Alleycat smiles and says softly "If you have spent much time in Absolution's company,you can't be a stranger to trouble. Sure'an its devilishly hard to hide a firearm in a thigh holster and walk the way you do" followed by a wink.

Al nods as Black goes towards Karn,before flashing Lily another dazzling smile and reaching down to produce the deck of cards from the holster on his hip,winking roguishly at her as he begins shuffling the cards and causing them to dance and spin across his hands in a well practiced manner. While doing this obviously brought a smile of delight to Lily,it also meant that just about anyone that looked in his direction would see the cards dancing and moving,his hands manipulating them with a almost supernatural grace...and would ignore his eyes now darting about the room,taking note of likely lines of fire,avenues of attack and escape. The Alleycat knew that Black knew him well enough to not leave a lovely lady alone in his presence for too long unless either she was completely smitten,or there was likely trouble in the very near future. And somehow he suspected in this case it would turn out to be both. Besides, you didn't get a reputation for having more then nine lives by not being prepared in advance. Though probably no one but Lily was close enough to hear it,the copper rectangle on his back began emitting a very low hum,as of gears winding. "So tell me Lass,where did ye meet Mr Black? I hadn't heard about him being back in town"

I honestly find that Sybelle is unneeded for my style of play at least. But I think the best sybelle conversion involved a person modeling a mop stuck into her waistband and up her back. As he scanned the card,the man who had introduced himself as Al quietly chuckled "Looks like I am not the only one come here with the hope of prospective work eh? But maybe work has come to find me without me havin to look" As he says this he pulls out a slim black velvet half-mask shaped to look like a panther's visage,slipping it on before the man loudly calling himself Deadpool had the chance to see more then his back. The gambler and gunman known in some circles as Alleycat then turned towards the main hall. "Friends of your's Black?"

Walking into the foyer as if he had not a care in the world,brushing past the uniformed guild guard as if he didnt exist, came a man dressed in a spotless white silk shirt with a black vest with intricate silver knotwork designs covering it.Black trousers and black cowboy boots with silver caps almost complete the ensemble. At the strangers hips ride a pair of well worn leather holsters,however the pistols one might expect are absent,instead replaced with a deck of cards in one,and a hip flask in the other. Over all this is a leather duster style long coat of a dusky gray hue. As he steps past people,a small rectangle of gleaming copper is seen attached to the back of the duster,but its purpose is unclear. Walking over to the buffet table he helped himself to a plate of food with a smile and a nod to all he passed,accompanied by a rogueish wink to Hayzel and Tuesday before stopping about 6' from Black and his companion. With a soft chuckle he beams a dazzling smile at Lily before nodding at Black,though his eyes never leave Black's. Clearly more a gesture to a Liked and respected rival then anything threatening. Turning back to Lily "Since me ol' friend here has clearly failed to remember his manners,allow me to introduce myself lass. You can call me Al". The traces of an irish accent still linger in the man's voice,though seemingly diminished by time.

Ok...how does Sonnia deal with perdita? well we have a couple of good options honestly. Your flame wall will block her line of sight to you. but you can still target her. You blast one of her minions with a flame burst and push the blast onto her. yes she takes less damage from it then you would like,but its something,and you can do it 3 times in a turn. And since she is taking 1 damage at a time,she wont likely ss it. Also,you can Send Sammael hopkins after her,you get a good card for him,or pick a time for when she doesnt have cards to cheat...he can kill her in one shot. he does 5/6/8 with a normal hit to her,and has a cb of 8. so its a straight shot,but she has SS so make sure to time it proper.Also,if you have the cards for it,he can riccochet shots to do 1/2/4. Also,and this is absolutely hilarious...use a little bit of outcast help and bring a freikorp specialist and librarian with Sonnia. Librarian heals and does bonuses to magic flips,the specialist makes papa loco flip out due to "your flammable" trigger. You can also do a lawyer to accomplish the same thing. Anything to make Papa loco run at double his speed away from yoru troops means his obey uses are limited. With a Riccochet shot off Francisco into the near dead papa loco standing behind him supposedly safe,I killed the executioner,papa loco and Francisco all with one bullet. use your witchling stalkers to close,be ready for Santiago to drop to one wound and hit him with violation of magic. do the same thing to Papa Loco. Hell do that to every one of the family that you can. Get stalkers in close and when she kills them the pulse does a damage to her. Also remember that you can drop blasts on them for reduced damage. And when they are down to one wound,you violate of magic them,replace them with a fresh stalker and give another 2 inch 2 damage pulse. You also hug cover every chance you get,that negative flip will help against everyone but Nino. But even Nino needs LOS,and that is what Flame wall does really nicely. If you take a totem,I prefer governor's proxy,you can put out two flame walls a turn. thats 4 of the 50mm pillars blocking LOS.

I love my 216. it holds multiple crews,all my counters and such. It works awesome.

If you notice..each Avatar is an avatar of "something" and it usually pertains to what that master allready did. Sonnia,Avatar of flaming burning goodness. Seamus,Avatar of Scariness. Marcus,Avatar of Animal Husbandry. Anyways...my point is..that each avatar has been really representative of what that Master was known for and then expressed it in a very concrete manner. If the designers did this with all the others,why wouldn't they do it with Zoraida. Now that being said..Zoraida was the mistress of the threads of fate and time. Maybe she is taking a step back to how she looked when younger?

Ok,So it seems like the steam powered madness has taken over a large amount of my time,and unfortunately an even larger amount of my money,so in an effort to lessen its impact,I am getting rid of a crew I got that was going to be used. Collette Du Bois Cassandra Performer and Mannequin I had really wanted to get cassandra started,but four crews is about the most i can manage. Well,First and foremost I must profess my love for Sonnia,she of the Fiery temper and the sarcastic turn of phrase. I have played her exclusively since I first got her,even to the point of Forsaking von schill and seamus,and not fielding perdita after I bought her box set to get ortegas for Sonnia to boss around.To further express my devotion and love I chose to paint her to resemble as closely as possible my girlfriend of 6 years. And to further express my love,I painted her chief Minion and most reliable protector,Samael Hopkins to resemble myself.

My work here isnt done,but its getting closer. Seriously though,Im seriously tempted to try it for my collette crew I will get around to building eventually.

You realize,that now,someone has to do a cassandra crew. where the Coryphee have pirate hats and cutlasses. The mechanical doves are parrots. The Mannequins all have two wooden peglegs. Cassandra in a bandanna,two cutlasses,flowy white poet's shirt and tight black leather pants.

oh very very nice. I think that you might have done a slight bit better to have the eyes glowing a different color,but it does make for a striking figure,even if they do kinda blend into the cloak. beautiful NMM though...

Awww...why would she be dancing on Sonnia's head. It would be far better to be Dancing on Perditas. And I still have not recieved my "Witch hunters do it till you confess" Tshirt. though birthday is coming up on the 13th so..*crosses fingers*

As promised,here is a Cygnar Warjack Hunter,done up in Amethyst Rose colors. This was a blast to paint and I rather like how the Freehand came out.

So here is the Front of the next model completed,Perdita. Not overwhelmingly thrilled with how the photo came out,the model itself looks better. Here is the back view. So,since I have done quite a lot of wyrd models I think its time for something slightly different.Next post will be a warjack in amethyst rose colors.
