  1. I think horror Molly is plenty competitive. My advice is to play with minimal Summoning for a couple of games because she needs to be careful with it depending on schemes and u can do enough without it sometimes. Also love Dead Doxies
  2. Decaying aura is great on him as he'll be casting expunge for 9dg quite a bit. A few canine remains can lower master df quite nicely for it and, coz they r undead, add poison when he casts his spell. Also he'll be healing while the enemy won't.
  3. I haven't read it anywhere, but it's a stitch in time playtesting for 2nd ed?
  4. Its untidy and should be fixed rather than left. But I'm also thinking that BB ability gets u credit for killing an enemy, BB condition doesn't. Splash BB onto enemies for gain.
  5. Hi, I like the changes to Black Blood Shaman, less confusing and weird. You missed a bit in the errata though as the Necrotic Machine still gives out the Black Blood Condition which is just untidy and going to catch people out. I don't have my cards to hand, but did Molly's aura also get left out? Please can these be tidied up too so they are not the only black blood in the game that is the same thing but not the same? Love, iamthefly
  6. I've just signed up for 'A stitch in time' here https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form?EQBCT=bfe34d41ec33428bba863f3d6fa8e683
  7. Like if you punch a model and a knock back trigger pushes it into hazardous terrain which kills it. There terrain gets the glory. VDD is powerful but has its drawbacks
  8. Hi, wanting to get into TTB, but with 2E coming in the autumn, so I just have to wait? Are there any of the one shots or penny dreadfuls that I could run without having to invest in the 1st ed rule books? Cheers
  9. Ewan S and Stuart D for the meal and lunches please. Don't know if there is the opportunity for feedback to Steve, but last year the soup was so salty I couldn't eat it. Sandwiches were good though.
  10. Like it . Like the cleaning up of black blood and the ca 7 lure on belles, not sure the -1wd on them was required though .
  11. Never tried him but this is the Internet so... I think he would pair nicely with the Valictidorian as he can keep up with her and her damage is 2/?/6 so a + to damage is a bigger deal because her spread is so wide . Even though she has a trigger for ++, you can't always hit/stone it. And she can sit outside his bubble reaching in with her 3" Ml . Any beater with a low min but high mod/max . Pairing his aura with McTavish who can shoot into cc could be fun. See also Hans.
  12. I was in the same boat. I just told some guys at work about my hobby now and then and after a while asked them if they'd like to try. My wife asked a guy at her work if he'd like to play Malifaux with me, he Googled it and agreed now he and I are great friends. We played with my models at my house, they bought their own stuff. We went to the local game store to play with painted crews and some people asked about it so I taught them. I left some fairly nice looking terrain at the shop for people to use as they wished. Then I disappeared for a while due to life stuff. Recently I just made a poster advertising an enforcer brawl and handed it to the store owner. Rules on a QR code. 6 players in total showed up, another random guy was watching so I got him joined in, he then bought a crew box, and the store owner wants to organise another brawl so he can play in it. Enforcer brawl is a great way to learn but it needs about 4 or 5 people. Is not exactly a big scene and all this took like 2 years, I don't have much time so it's moved very slowly, but The key was just asking those guys in work and getting that first someone to play against. Be prepared for knock backs too, if ain't for everyone. I'm surprised how many folk said yes. 3! It was pretty easy . Its an hour drive to the game store, which is tricky on a work night, kids, etc. But being at the store is important. Folk need to know that they will have someone to play against if they invest in the game. I've heard of people just giving someone else a crew and start from there. Is not easy, it's actually work being 'the Malifaux guy' in your area trying to grow a scene. But once u get of the ground of gets a lot easier.
  13. Keeps it simple, I like it. Did Swamp Mother get any kind of boost to make her less embarrassing?
  14. She also had a problem in that and model with condition removal just completely negates her. So a 4ss Witchling Stalker can just remove hem or bewitch or burning etc and make it like Zoraida never showed up. Is a bit stupid now I think about it.
  15. Hi, definitely up for this. Not found the tickets up for sale yet though Ewan
  16. Really pleased Zoraida got a bit of a boost, id like her to have a useful zero action as well though. We shall see. She has 3 main abilities, doll, obay and bewitch. And the first two don't work on masters. (id like a trigger or stone requirements on her obay to allow it to target masters, but that's just me). I hope there is something to help with these two shortfalls too., just to give me a little more to do with her. Let's wait and see. She's still my favourite tho.
  17. The as yet unnamed team from the Highlands are set to take the lower tables by storm.
  18. Please add myself and Stuart D and Stuart F to both lunch lists. In fact please put us on every list you have as and when new lists emerge. Ewan
  19. Cool thanks, We three are already paid and in the list for the GT - just in case you count us twice. Ewan
  20. Hi, I'd like to add Stuart D, Stuart F and myself to the list for the meal, but I don't fb. Also can I register us as a team? How do I achieve these things? Cheers, Ewan
  21. Don't forget that the swamp suits her well and has loads of hidden tricks. It's a lot of fun. More fun imo. On the voodoo doll: I'm convinced that iggy is the best option for abusing the doll. Nurse is great and has utility elsewhere as well, but it's so easy to take a model of your choice of the board per turn with iggy doing 12dg via the doll. Plus he's going to be sold separately for cheapness. Sorrow is fine and requires no cards to paralyse, nurse is better, but iggy is best imo. Animal shape all the way. Crystal ball is great and all, but u don't need it if u are bewitching a 3ap model or two every turn. There is so much use for animal shape. Out of the swamp consider the rider. Stubborn. Zoraida may be wp 10, but the rest of her crew are usually very poor wp and once her crew is taken out she is struggling a little. (Of course there is always the opponents crew to control.) I like the Mature Nephalim as an out of swamp beater for movement control and very hitty and keeps up with animal shape. Plus if u have the swampfiends they go well with Lilith. For me the minimalist shopping list is Zoraida box, Waldgeists, iggy. Then add gators. Whatever u choose she is loads of fun.
  22. As Injuries are upgrades added to a character in a campaign, I guess Hans could shoot them off a friendly character doing no damage. The upgrade would be discarded not annihilated, so it would come back next game. That's the rules as I read them, but I think it's an abuse of the campaign/Hans rules and not in the spirit of the game. What do you think, is it legit?
