personally i don't like gw paints, cost to much, not sooo much paint, and its not the best, i prefer game color, reaper paint, because you can mix them together better. well, glue them, prime them (black or white) and use the colors you like, always start with a nice and decent coat of your primary color. (i did purple for the skins and so on) use highlights, if you don't know how to apply them, drybrush them with a little lighter tone. after this highlight with an e;ven lighter tone, but not as hard as your first highlight. so if you go with your brush 5 times over your model with the first one, you go only 2-3 times with the second. and sometimes i even use a highlight wich has 1/10 with white, and apply them with 1 stroke to have a nice effect. as for the horns and wings well, i do the same thing, and for the skin, i even use a small amount of flesh tone wash and apply it to their body. i now there are better ways to have a nice model, but this is how i do it and it works i am no pro and i've got no steady hand but my miniatures are painted like i want them and i like them i'm a newbie myself, so my painting skills are like a 5/10 but i like them, because i did it myself.

well i destroyed seamus the other day with my 22" inch casting range thanks to silent one, bite of winter for +1dg, essence of power for my and cheat and burn soulstones to get the other , i get to cheat my red joker from my hand, and i triggered overpower for the final strike. and this in turn one and i had 2 more action points to spend, rasputina can be a beast when casting, and a silent one as well if you cheat a 13 (or flip one) she can be a painful caster herself because not much creatures can resist a 19 on df but she is VERY slow (snow storm adds some speed) and VERY fragile when in close combat (turn 3 she got killed by a mature nephilim (we were playing 1vs1vs1) ) so you need to know how to play with her, she can be dangerous when she is casting, but when a master or strong creature can attack her in melee, your dead

correct i understand this, because it says the target but what about lilith's earthquake? so does not target ramos, but he has to resist it because the pulse targets him. your spell with the gunslinger was something else because he targets the swarm, but when earthquake comes in play, eartquake: Rst: Df/Rg: :pulse12) the range is the pulse, so in theorie, ramos is a target, he is not alone, but he is a target. can he use his counterspell, or not

when a model casts a spell with rg and a model with counterspell is inside the pulse, can the model with counterspell use his abilty to dispell it? i had a discussion with somebody yesterday. this is one of the special things i believe, he is not directly nominated, but he still have to resist it, so acctually he is the target of the spell. see what my problem is? can someone help me with this pls sephiroa

replacing and summonning are indeed a big difference as chipacabra said, replacing means you take every action the coryphee took in account. so the coryphe will only get the fast + the (0) action. when it was summonded, it would receive slow but could still activate as normal (meaning 2 actions and 3 (0) actions)

i like a cerberus in my list, i also use joss sometimes, it depends, but i always use golem and 2-3 gamins now i have a silent one, i will use her a lot

a spirit is the unique thing the model has. and flight is an ability, so i would say the spirit will overrule the flight in case of impassible terrain. always: first the halving and then the substactions. so a spirit with armor 2+ can take a 6 dg hit and suffers only 1 wd

well that goes the same for raspy with her overpower trigger. now your just saying things that might happen, and here in this example he can attack 1-2 (3 if he got gooed hand cards) times, wich wil be more than enough if you have some armour

i know chompy and the dreamer are fast, but i don't think he can zoom 36" and zoom back,, unless is missed some very important stuff. even with daydreams and with the fly abbility of dreamer he can only reach a max of 24" (includes the 3" attack from chompy) and then chompy stands there, all alone, start with giving rasputina some armour and use soulstones to negate/prevent damage, that + the armour would give even a beast as chompy a little pause (since his damage isn't THAT big), and when you are surrounded by golem+ gamins, he will go down,

i beleive its funny to use cerberus when you are fighting against a range crew, keep him behind some buildings and keep a 7-9 mask in your hand to leap, jump right in their arms and start biting, if you kill an enemy with 1 or 2 bites, you can still charge another target. your cerberus most likely will die. but they used almost evrything to kill him, and you can come closer and finish the job, i love the cerberus. he can be used in a lot of different ways

i have to agree with that, seamus just likes his belles, so he creates them. nicodem has a graveyard at his disposal. so his just raises everything he can and mc mourning just loves to experiment. but in theory i think they can all 3 summon any undead they want

well some master could change sides, but i think thiss would be fluff wise, i don't believe that they will acctualy change them. i play with rasputina, and i don't want to imagine the problems it will get if i have to change some things because she changed to neverborn,

santiago is very good, and like some said, put fransisco next to him (or executioner) and when he gets charged let the melee user finish the job. santiago is baddass in mid range shooting and nino in long range. if they ever get close to you you have a back-up. and when nino is in combat use the "were'd he go" spell (very annoying,,) i personally hate it when my brother fields his 3 ortega's and i have claim jump as a strategy,,

well in only started playing malifaux about 3 months ago. and i don't know much about their future plans. and i'm not going to read evey topic to find out what has been discussed already but thanks a lot. i hope wyrd won't dissapoint me with their new books ^^ but i don't think they will

in book 1 there is 1 tyrant that realy want's to get out. we also see a glimp of the gorgon and the grave spirit. in book 2 we have the plague that walks again. what will happen if their are more tyrants that will awaken? imagine that rasputina is fighting lilith, seamus and criid altogether in a 1vs1vs1vs1 battle? and a tyrant attacs them? will they join forces to take down the tyrant? or will they just keep fighting? there will be a time they will have to make that choice if to tyrants keep returning.

i just finished the fluff of book 2, and a lot of questions popped into my head, Candy has become a full grown Woe so we can expect a new model for her? and the avatar forms,, they where gone the moment the event was gone, so how is it possible that they can retain their avatar form? and justice,, well, if you read zoraida's divinations we can have a little brainstorm what wil happen to her. and kirai, will she have an avatar form? or will her spirit be the one that will get the avatar form. and there will be a time (if they follow their own fluff) that some models vrom the first book will leave malifaux (like candy or hamelin) and they will get new models. (hamelin already has one) what will wyrd do? so many questions.

taking deadlines while painting is not smart (except when you have to paint them for a tourney or so) i paint when i wan't to paint and quit when i'm tired of it. sometimes i can paint 2 days non stop and sometimes i quit after 2 hours. it depends. don't stresss yourself. cause if you do. you will see it in your painting
