if you use neverborn wispers on von schill, targeting his defence which is lower and manage to hit him he loses stubborn, if not you may have forced him to burn some high cards/ss getting the miss.

just to add, spells that increase damage on weapons dont make them magical eg samaels flaming bullets

1) yep it goes like that, resist flips are instead of defense flips for spells but follow same order 2) i believe they each have 1 action to use, not sure though 3) every time the coryphee take a walk action they get to make a free strike at some point and then continue the walk or end it if they wish. if they continue the walk you do get a disengaging strike unless they get the trigger which gives them the push 4) if you cheat it in it counts as 0 for the flip so you will almost always lose the duel, it varies on whether it is better to hold onto it or discard it at the start of the next turn depending on crew, play style etc. 5) i think they drop the treasue before falling back since they are moving without taking a walk action

unfortunatley you cannot take the hanged with the viks since their rule overrides jacks (same with hamelins height 1 ability) all models in the crew must be mercs

use them for defense flips lol. not all crews need every suit for things, means not relying on as much and using them for anything where a suit isnt important

no her box isnt very good. convict gunslinger is prob next thing i would get and run: Viks Ronin x2 (10) Gunslinger (5) Librarian (7) Taelor (8) = 30 with a cache of 5 although this would vary depending on strat/opponent

the only real caster they have other than the librarian is hamelin. against low wp crews he is awsome running your opponents models off the board or forcing them to hit their own crew. for support a ranged option like von schill, the trapper or gunslinger are your best bet. i personally have never even attempted to cast another one because you normally need to spend a ss to cost it on top of the 2 the spell needs making it a bit too expensivem, better to use them to damage prevent/buff defense flips.

the viks dont really need any specific models to work with them just as long as its a merc it'll do the job however Ronin, the Freikorps Librarian and the Convict Gunslinger are some of the better options then someone like Taelor or Von Schill for more damage. check out the pull my finger wiki for tactica on them http://pullmyfinger.wikispaces.com/

i was wondering the same after buying one but if you look at the pdf for arcanist v2 cards the cerberus doesnt have v2 on its card there either so may just be a typo

yes they can make a healing flip every time they are reduced to 0 wounds so as long as they have soulstones they can keep doing it. makes killing colette very hard no matter how much damage you inflict as long as they heal 1 wound they stay alive dont know about the headshot style kill tho edit: beaten to it

no it is every closing phase, so every time they activate they suffer 2wds however once you use conduit on another model it will go down to poison 1 and then end.

unfortunately, von schills hiring rule means that the only height 1 models you can take are the student of conflict or the malifaux child. also it is worth keeping those four stones for his slow to die healing flips.

do we need to provide treasure counters etc?

as soon as her activation ends her melee range goes back down to 2" so she they won't be engaged with her when they activate

the 6" melee range is for her activation only
