  1. It looks gribbley and horrible. Awesome.
  2. This one. http://www.avatars-of-war.com/eng/web/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=15&Itemid=72 On the right, obviously.
  3. Hmm...good game and all that...but I do have something to ask. In your post about the knockout league, you stated that if the result is a draw after turn 6, both players select 1 more scheme and play another turn. If this rule is adhered to, I pick bodyguard... Oh, and Mr Toop wants in (apparently).
  4. Avatar of:smokin: At least I'm always in cover...
  5. My first turn usually goes like this: 1. Lost Love: Defensive Stance, Pass 2. Seishin: Defensive Stance, Pass 3. Seishin: Defensive Stance, Pass 4. Gaki: Attack Desperate Merc, deal weak/moderate(3) damage, Walk 5. Insidious Madness: Defensive Stance, Walk 6. Insidious Madness: Defensive Stance, Walk 7. Desperate Merc: Walk, Walk 8. Seishin (In base with Kirai): Walk, Walk 9. Seishin (In base with Kirai): Walk, Walk 10: Kirai: In the Spirit World, Evolve Spirit (Summon Shikome completely within 5", towards her target opponent), Heal Self, Summon Ikiryo (within 12", so she can pull Shikome towards her prey). Bounce 1 Seishin into base. 11: Datsuie-Ba: Guide Spirits on self, Weigh Sins on Desperate Merc (Summon Gaki, place Seishin as close to Shikome as possible, Gaki picks up corpse counter, Kirai makes a healing flip). Heal Kirai (Note, if Guide Spirits fails, Walk instead and do Weigh Sins) 12: New Seishin: Spiritually Empower on Shikome 13: New Gaki: Walk, or something... 14: Ikiryo: Call Spirits (pulling Shikome and anyone else you want to), Move and attack etc. 15: Shikome: Nimble into prey and rip them apart. Then turn 2... Sac Madness for Initiative. Smash stuff with Shikome some more. Note that this tactic of diving in can be risky, but it can end games quickly if you can pull it off. However, it is highly dependant on what you have in your hand.
  6. Maybe I should get a certain number tattooed on my fourhead...
  7. Why use a Guild Autopsy? Get a Desperate Merc instead. You can get a healing flip out of them as well as everything else. And its cheaper. And, if you play it right, you can get 4 decent shots out of it too. Okay, you need to give up the Librarian, But I've never found it to be all that useful myself.
  8. Ehh...I'll be attending anyway. Speaking of crowns...what happenned to your hardcore crown, Craig? You should wear it more often...
  9. Why no Necropunks? a 3ss model with leap, hard to kill and slow to die that can make opponents slow and has good Cb/Df (great when bolstered). Their only downside is the low damage output. My Nico crew is as follows: Nicodem 2x Vultures 3x Necropunks 2x Rotten Belle 1x Desperate Mercenary 1x 'Big thing' (Bete, Dead Rider, Jack Daw, Molly (swapping 1 Vulture for a Necrotic Machine) etc.) Cache: 5/6
  10. I believe you will still get Seishin...they are placed, not summoned (unless I've played that wrong). Gaki are pretty good against him...sacrificed rats don't generate more rats. But the best thing is that Hamelin relies mostly on making your crew insignificant. Kirai can just sac anything he makes insignificant and summon a new, significant one. The key thing to remember is go for the ratcatchers with your big hitters.
  11. Here's what I own: 2x Kirai (one painted 'solid', one painted 'spirit') 1x Lost Love 6x Seishin 1x Ikiryo 1x Datsuie-Ba 6x Gaki (Good against other ressers as they eat corpse counters. Since it's easy to summon lots, then having lots is a good idea) 4x Onryo (good against guild due to terrifying and immediate revenge) 2x Shikome 2x Insidious Madness (Awesome. A must-have due to crazy movement and switching plays, WP debuffs and key initiative flips) 1x Jack Daw (Anti-Pandorra) 4x Hanged (You only need 2, but I got the others for a brawl) 1x Desperate Mercenary (You can get a Seishin,a Gaki, a Corpse counter for that Gaki and a healing flip out of this 2 stone model. What more do you want?) I still need to get: 1x Dead Rider 3x Night Terrors And I still don't think I have enough Gaki (once had 7 on the field)...and need more Seishin for brawls.
  12. There is no 'right' way of playing Kirai, but there's certainly a 'wrong' way. What you take in your crew depends on both your opponent and the strategy you are playing. For example: Onryo are effective against Guild Crews thanks to the fact that they are terrifying and have immediate revenge. Gaki are good against other Ressurectionist Crews because they eat all the corpse counters they need to summon models. When playing Treasure Hunt or destroy the Evidence, an Insidious Madness or two can be extremely useful for the ridiculous mobility. Of course, you will never want to leave home without at least 4 Seishin and Lost Love. But the rest of your crew should be picked depending on the situation at hand, rather then just taking the same pre-set crew all the time.
  13. At least now you know how to stop that... Taking 2 can be a very good idea. Crucial initiative flips are very common. Having 2 means you can sac 1 to gain initiative and still have another to screw with your opponent's head. Especially if that second one is in melee with a few of your opponent's living models...
  14. Recieve Fast, Reactivate, Slow to Die. Situational, but possible.
  15. Football would be much simpler. Melee strike the ball and move it a number of inches equal to the difference in duel totals (providing you win, of course). Your opponent flips for the 'ball' (preferably a Gremlin), and cannot cheat the flip. Kick the 'ball' between two 'goalposts' to score. I've been working on something like this as a strategy for a little while...got the idea after reading the fluff for Ophelia's crew.
  16. I may have to take you up on that...need to discuss it with the rest of the club first, though.
  17. Hopefully. Some issues about cost, but I can practically live off cigs and coffee.
  18. It's Ant. I just wish we could've played ours out to the end.
  19. True, but I still think he will be more of a liability than anything else. I'd rather have 3 Gaki for the same price. Absorbing rats is fun, especially when you can potentially do it 7 times per turn with 1 Gaki.
  20. "Content is currently unavailable" Am I too early to view? Or is it just me (as usual)?
  21. The problem is that a lot of Kirai and Jacks spells/abilities are suit-sepcific, which means you WILL end up cheating a lot of the time, meaning Hamelin ends up with a bigger hand than yours. Also remember that Hamelin, Ratcatchers, Stolen and his totem (Be it the Wretch or Primordial) can all cast bleeding disease.
