his event takes place at Adler Hobby in Hollis, NH http://www.adlerhobby.com/ 96 Twiss Lane Hollis, NH 03049 date: july 31st time: 1pm (please get there early) $10 entry fee 30 SS Scrap the same list through out the tournament (so make a balanced list) we will have 3 rounds with points based on stratagies and schemes 2 extra points for each win 1 point each if a tie Startegies: first 2 rounds will have two predetermined stratagies. the player in each match who flips the highest card gets to pick which stratagy they would like. then the remaining player gets the other one. as a result you will not play the same strat twice Schemes: two schemes each round. you will be asked to record all schemes and each scheme can only be used once durring the tournament. you will not be required to announce your schemes. unless it is required by the schemes description. ie: thwart is now required to be announced. there will be no bonus points for painted miniatures (this time) proxies are ok but they must look the part. and you are expected to have easy reference to the model being used. ie: a book or card. prizes are based on the amount of players if I get 8 or more players I will also have a painting contest one model. I will be taking a picture of the winner and posting it on here for all to see and aspire too. space is limited if you wish to secure your spot you can contact Adler Hobby at the above web link and you can pay directly. or you can visit them and pay in person. any questions please ask there is a pizza shop down the road and there will be a lunch break (so I can inspect the models for the painting contest) I look forward to seeing a full house

can someone please explain the ability to scavenge the Desolation Engine in order to draw cards it will kill the master so how can you do this and if you do it how many cards can you draw? I was thinking Levi could do it first turn it was summoned and get 12 cards for it but this does not seem possible since he would end up killing himself to do it so does the desolation engine need to be damaged to do it or what anyway someone if you would be so kind as to explain the mechanics of how this works

I will be there this next Wed I ran a successful Demo and that was a lot of fun so I will be running a demo again for any new players and answering any questions but then I would like to get in a game since I only demoed last week

I'm a big fan of the all arachnid army brass - 2 steamborg - 10 swarm - 9 arachnids x 2 - 6 you would need at least 3 more arachnids and one more swarm for replacements but I would also start off with the first swarm broken apart they are harder to hit but beware of blasts

my 35 ss list that I am working on is teddy - 9 Alyce - 8 steam Ab x 2 - 6 Joss - 9 waif - 0 cache - 3 could trade in a steam Ab for 3 more stones

I think that if A is in melee with B and B is in melee with C and D and you shoot at A you need to shoot at all 4 models because A is in melee with B and B is in melee with C and D all are in melee

quick reminder to make sure this gets looked at hello everyone my name is Brett. this Wed the 7th I will be at The Whiz to play Malifaux with a few players I met there last week. I have been told there are several other players that have armies in the area. I would like to invite everyone down between 5-9pm to check this game out. it does not matter if you are a new gamer or a hardened vet. I would like to meet you. I am more then happy to spend the first hour or two demoing to any new players how the game works the basic mechanics and such. but I would really like to get in a game. so please to those who have played before come on down and see the renewed interest that has developed at The Whiz. and for those who have not played before you are always welcome to come and learn the game and play short demos.

ok first off my master only has 2 defense... and most masters have near 10 wounds. you have effectively 14 wounds if they are 7 wds each. so I do not feel that you are that much of a disadvantage and also you have two masters that can use soulstones. I would recommend using them carefully or you will burn through them twice as fast but also that could mean twice as many devistating attacks per turn... Hans is a nice addition to the viki army with his custom ammo and long range. also blasts are no ones friend when there are linked sorrows roaming around. target the sorrow and blast the master then they dont get to use a soul stone to aid in def.
