I have been told that the sewer board is on the way and is on time to be completed for the event I hope everyone in the area can make it out to this event. also there are a few other boards that are underway here's a hint "have you ever wanted to be in a barroom brawl". maybe now will be your chance
  3. ok everyone I know there have been a few people in the area waiting for a new event so here it is first off this is important info Date: Sunday April 10th Time: 10am sign in, 11am start time City, State: Westborough, MA Location/Store: Tournament size (scrap or brawl, SS size): Scrap, 30 SS Sign up limit: minimum: 6 , maximum: 12 If there is a sign up required: yes If there is a fee required to sign up: $10.00 Prizes, if they are announced ahead of time: 1st prize will be a new Hamlin Box Set. Painting requirements: None, but players do like to face painted models (so keep that in mind) Proxies: unreleased totems and reasonable models (must have card). and must be inspected before we begin. Strategy: This is going to be a themed match there will be new themed strategies, and some old ones. the theme is Hamlin pied piper. with that in mind there are some new boards being developed in the store. these should be done before the event so keep your fingers crossed for a sewer board Schemes: you will need to attempt to play a minimum of one master specific scheme. Schemes can be repeated for this event. but there will be a bonus of 2 points to each player who does not repeat any schemes. any questions please let me know.

  5. ok guys I am going to have a tournament coming up and the prize is a Hamlin starter box. my plan was to take the time to assemble and pain the set but I have been told that players might prefer to have a blank set so that they can assemble and paint it themselves. which is fine with me it means I can have the tournament sooner but I am interested to know what people would prefer. so what would you prefer if you were in this event?
  6. where are you located? there should be a game running near you, I would think, since we are everywhere you just have to look
  7. wow that is awesome where did you get the stuff you used to base them
  8. Coryphee, Gunsmith, Johan, Joss. those are great options Joss when he gets rolling will take one model and kill it dead. be he needs to get charged up again to do more damage.
  9. collette is amazing I love her and her crew and getting the coryphee makes her a beast but I really like the performers with the range attacks and lureing capabilities. plus cassandra is as good as a henchmen with out a totem. so pull stuff in and tear it apart with magic attacks and fast moving blades
  10. 35 SS and we are using some of the winter strategies from Wyrd slightly edited to fit what we have available... they will be fun and interesting prepare to be hampered in one way or another due to winter effects.
  11. I left mine in the box with an 11 of something ... I just was not paying attention when I was about to play in a tournament because they were about to start so I just pulled the cards out and shuffled and for the first two games of three I was playing with out and never noticed. I dropped my deck when I was shuffling for the third game and when I picked up the cards I counted to see if I had lost any under the table. I was panicked as I looked everywhere and I could not figure out where the cards had slid off to. then someone picked up my box and said are these yours cause I seriously delayed the tournament start because I was so frantic asking everyone to look around. I was so embarrassed and when I saw what cards I had left in the box I felt like such an idiot. not only did I get everyone in a tizzy trying to find the cards but I was cheating to lose I guess. I was a sight to be had I am sure I must have been every shade of red while the story circulated in seconds around the players in the tournament. anyway cheating sucks and if you have to cheat you already lose.
  12. bump looking for players for this event please say hello if you are interested in going
  13. Date: Saturday Jan. 15th Time: High Noon cards get flipped City, State: Location/Store: Tournament size (scrap or brawl, SS size): scrap 30 - 35 SS (I cant remember what we had decided) sign up begins at 11am to 11:50am If there is a fee required to sign up: 10 dollar entrance fee Prizes: based on attendance Painting contest based on attendance this will have winter themed strategies no repeating schemes 3 rounds each round 1 hour and 15 mins 1 extra point if you are able to complete a master specific scheme proxies allowed but have reasonable models to represent and also have a way to show your opponent the stats and capabilities. limit proxies with in reason ie: 1-2 models max please tell the judge when signing in what models you will proxy so that they can make the final determination if the model will be allowed.
  14. I say drop one of the birds and add the SS to your cache you can create a bird a turn as a Zero action and it only cost one SS so yeah I would def drop at least one bird and use the SS for your models... all of your models have a chance to use SS if done right
  15. I suggest the essence of power for Tina it makes her even more of a canon
  16. I am working on my own levi list and I have started with the box set and a desolation engine... that being said I really like the rouge necromancy and ashes and dust both are not out yet. but I am still very new to this army and I am still working out the kinks
  17. it is the holiday season and and everyone is shopping for gifts why not get your friends to get you what you really want... more opponents for malifaux. I have been asked by my LGS to do demos for them during the very busy few days before x-mas. so why not take this chance to get your friends to check out the game you all enjoy and learn how to play. now is the time to get your friends into Malifaux. I will be set up in the front of the store. Date: wed, Dec. 22nd Time: 12pm - 8pm City, State: Westborough, MA Location/Store: all are welcome new players please introduce yourself and we will get as many demos in as possible.
  18. mobile tool kit makes it very easy to always get surge trigger and do just about any of his spells with out much effort. that being said if you are using the brass arachnid you have a harder time using your spells but you can reactivate each round if you save the correct cards in your fate hand but that means you can reactivate any of your constructs with the brass arachnid and also heal your constructs in the same turn
  19. what fun is it to win on the first or second turn how boring that is
  20. I feel like I have seen this model before where is it from?
  21. Date: wed, Dec. 1st Time: 5pm - 9pm City, State: Westborough, MA Location/Store: all are welcome new players please introduce yourself and we will get as many demos in as possible. I am doing a demo for a few people I have met that are gamers interested in seeing a new game so I will be there probably from 4pm on setting up a few tables to get ready for a nice influx of players. anyone in the area looking for a game or want to get some friends started bring them in I will bring in several styles of army to play. my hope is that I will be able to do a few demos and then get people set up to play on some games with players that already know the game so if you wanna have a fun game wed. please show up but please dont bring your A game unless you wanna play me and then I enjoy the challenge.
