  1. Great action shot! XD Initially I thought that was a Malifaux billboard hanging in the background or something. =P
  2. w00t, I love me some RL picture threads. =) Fear my thread necromancy. Year: 2005 Weight: Somewhere in the range of 270-280 lbs Body Fat: Well over %30 Year: 2010 Weight: 201lbs Body Fat: Under %10 I've been overweight my entire life, all through high school and college (as can be seen by the stretch marks in that last pic), so it feels quite good being fit for the first time ever in my life. =) And a more normal pic:
  3. Hated Vista, but I adore 7. Microsoft got it right this time.
  4. I highly approve of both of these. =)
  5. I actually own quite a few Freebooter minis already, I've used them as proxies in my Warhammer Fantasy force. I've always loved there style so I'll definitely be keeping a watchful eye on them, I doubt I would stop playing Malifaux though even if I did pick it up, hell I still player Warhammer AND Warmachine in addition to Malifaux. I'm a Wargamer through and through. =P
  6. As confused as I am by their casting choice, I will most certainly be seeing the Scott Pilgrim movie!
  7. No rest for the wicked... or I guess the wyrd in this case. =P You guys def know how to keep yourselves busy.
  8. I stumbled upon this concept art for the new crew!
  9. Nice try Eric, I respect the effort. =P
  10. Yes indeedy: http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=10277 And welcome to the fold, Malifaux is by far one of the most unique Wargames I've ever played and I can relate to you in many ways. I'm mostly responsible for my play group making the dive as well.
  11. I'll try and make it one of these days, I normally go to GPC on Thursday nights for some WarmaHordes. I actually work a mile away from the place. =P My training schedule prevents me from taking both days off in a week so I pretty much need to pick between Tuesday nights or Thursday nights. I'll def make it in there eventually though, and I may be able to bring a few friends as well. =)
  12. If it's purely based off money, there are significantly cheaper options then buying "official" army transports. I've said it before and I'll say it again: Metal Toolbox + Rare Earth Magnets = Win!!!
  13. Consider it purchased! =) I purchased my Hordes bag back when they were first letting people reserve them, it quickley became my favorite carrying case of all time, and I've used Sabol, Crystal Caste and Kaiser Rushforth. I'm quite a big fan of Battle Foam now so I look forward to this release.
  14. Malifaux on Tuesday nights WarmaHordes on Thursday nights Warhammer 40k on Saturdays On Friday nights we'll generally play whatever people are most interested in at the time, whether it be Warhammer 40k Warhammer FB, WarmaHordes or Malifaux. As of late, we've actually been getting both WarmaHordes and Malifaux games in on Fridays. Definitely just an addition for me. ^_^b
  15. With my introduction into Malifaux (and skirmish gaming in general) I've decided to look for more elaborate terrain I could take advantage of. Since I only have to move a handful of models and not entire armies it's possible to take advantage of more elaborate terrain with multiple layers and fully detailed interiors. So I've decided to try my hand at card stock terrain, more specifically World Works Games card stock terrain. Started off simple enough with the Village Works set: But I plan to eventually try my hand at the insidiously detailed Cathedrae Noctis set: And then of course all the TerrainlinX stuff, the amount of complexity you can pull out of your play area is simply amazing with card stock, and best of all no painting required! =P
  16. And it worked extremely well for you! =) The grungy look works surprisingly well for him, I shall have to keep this in mind when I inevitably pick him up. Props my good sir.
  17. If win had a physical form it would be a flying pig on a spring. Quite creative my good sir. =)
  18. Not quite yet but I plan on getting my hands on it in the not to distant future. My wife and I just acquired a house and as a result didn't want to spend any money (outside of necessities) until the transaction was complete. Heavy Rain is near the top of the list of purchases I desire to make once this embargo is lifted however. =) I look forward to reading peoples experiences.
  19. If I can get my hands on a poster sized copy of THE Train... I shall name my first born Nathan.
  20. For me it's not even a competition for the top spot, Teddy is strides ahead of the rest. Number two would probably be the Death Marshals followed by Seamus sitting pretty at number three.
