What: Malifaux Escalation League II Where: Amorous Armadillo Game Shoppe - (407)309-2247 When: July 5th Time for another Escalation. Schedule 7/5/11-10SS 7/19/11- 15SS 8/2/11- 20SS 8/16/11-25SS 8/30/11-30SS This time around we will be taking a bit longer between escalations because models MUST BE PAINTED. Proxies are not allowed and players may not play with models that have not received a general release. You may play different factions as long as the models are painted. Scoring will be as follows Win 5 pts Draw 3 pts Loss 1 pt +2 pts for playing a bonus game +3 pts for writhing a battle report/narrative on the forums. Prizes will be given out for the following: Most league points Person who plays the most different opponents Person who plays the most different masters.

He is only sold out of the Pink one. That thing went real fast, in about 2-3 weeks and they were all gone. We go to the same LGS and game together for years now and even I couldn't get my hands on one, haha.

I have been having fun driving people cray with Von Schill all over the board. I delivered a message on the second turn, after being Lured right next to Seamus, I actually had to cheat it down, haha. Anyways, (2)Interact to deliver the message and +1Nimble to (0)Augmented Jump behind a house, but not before my specialist rounded the house to nail Von in the back to cheat down the blast. Getting Seamus and a Belle. My other Scheme, was to hold the house, haha. It was a perfect set-up that fell into place. I really am liking Von Schill a whole lot. The thing I am having trouble with, is finding the Trapper to be usefull. I would always much rather hae Hans or a Gunslinger for range support. Without sniper-ish abilities, he is limited to being effective against Constructs/Beasts. I guess his main goal is the Advance Deploy thing to get objectives.

Someone else mentioned these bags. I also use them and love them. One of my best friends is the owner of Portable Warfare and I can tell you he really put his heart and years of player experience and knowledge into the bags. Nothing on the bag is fluff, it is all use. My personal favorite features are the HUGE book compartment in the front. Can we say 8th edition WHFB hardback + Army codex at the same time, yes we can. I also like the flap pockets, they fit every flame template without out having to angle it in sideways and sticking out the top. Last but not least, the easy zip flap that goes all the way down on the back side, so there is no digging your top 5 trays out just to get to the one you need at the bottom. The color choices are nice as well. Sidenote, Portable Warfare does not make the foam. Blu is their own company. They make great foam trays. Higher quality than Sabol and on par with Battlefoam.

So, I am looking for a cool event idea for Malifaux to be ran @ my LGS. We are about to wrap up a successful Escalation league. We now have a good body of people playing it @ the store. So the bodies are there. We are also having a Malifaux tourny this weekend. I would like to keep the interest in Malifaux high at my LGS and am trying to think of some good ideas. The game itself has way too many strategies and themes to try to come up with some every week. What have you done or has your LGS done that you were like, WHOA! I would be REALLY interested a campaign that people have tried.

Add another layer of non-mix water effect on top of it. This will create a top seal of properly cured water effect. It will remain gooey under neath, but you have capped it off, so to speak. Just make sure the new layer is drying from a fresh edge to another fresh edge, completely sealing off the bottom gooey layer.

Yeah, so-so sir. =) I found it earlier. I just had to have my memory jogged about the pinned download thread. Found it an Ratty's stuff, very sleek looking cards. Really surprised Wyrd has not tried to cash in on these cards yet.

Now, I know I found these on here a couple years ago. Has anyone updated them and does anyone know where they are? My search-fu failed in my venture.

I have been using the Convict Gunslinger and Bishop. Librarian makes Bishop an even more abusive beat stick and the Gunslinger helps lay down the already impressive range line.
