Yep. That was after I had been playing for a few months and grabbed Ressers as my main and back burnered the Gremlins as a "fun army". Seeing you play the boomerang is what made me see it's potential and start considering other ways of playing them. I like the spider swarm. It can be a heavy hitter, but more importantly, it can break apart and give us numbers for activations instead of desperate mercs who die.

I started with Sommer with the game and it gave me an appreciation for the game from a different perspective. That being, the hilarity of things like "oops", "yall watch this", "git yer bro", "Stick em in the ass" etc. I rarely ever won, hell I don't think I ever did 'til I read up on tactics like the alpha stank and the pig boomerang. For a younger guy tho, I wouldn't. I find that youngins enjoy Guild to start, as it gives them massive damage on a point and shoot/slash without having to over think it. Once they get their head around tactics also, venturing out is easier.

Damn, I am in love as well. Not sure how I feel about dropping the Student for her, as the student certainly helps many situations and gives a bonus action for manifesting earlier if anything (though he then disappears) but...she seems dangerously fun.

Foam is for depth. or just construction in general. When you add layers of foam, you can carve hills, rivers, etc out of it.

There is no right or wrong way. But very basic, you can buy a 3x3 piece of wood, make a mixture of sand and kitty litter (more sand than litter) and cover the board with a water/glue layer, then a sand/litter layer, let dry, shake off debris, add birdhouses.

Two of my go toes as well. In the end, a few material know hows and an imagination will go a loooooooong way. Also, check yard sales and your kid's toy box for unused stuff. Small Green Army Men barricades, barns, castles, etc. Also, birdhouses from the craft store. Even if they are kind of broken up, or childish, some minor modifications and painting can work wonders.

Yesterday, I bought: 3 Barbies 3 Justin Beiber Figures 2 Spools of Floral Wire 1 Tub of Crayola Air-Dry Clay ...don't judge me. I had a random idea to sculpt some trees that have human form bodies and make a tree of life themed table. I went to the local Big Lots and bought a 3 pack of cheap and hollow plastic off brand Barbies and then the cheapest package of smaller figures I could find, which so happened to be a 3 pack of Justin Beiber figures. We shall see if I can make this kid useful for something! First, I took apart the figure to have more control, and I wrapped it in floral wire to have it fixed in the pose I wanted and to give the clay something good to adhere to. I will be working on the torso today and after the base is together, I will try my hand at sculpting some bark.

Try liquid green stuff. Applies with paint brush and takes minutes.

I would have two dancing twin sisters with masamunes than these hunks of manikin junk any day

Thanks for sharing these. I am amazed how nice these plastics are and can't wait to start my 10T army.

If you notice with Rattys, they are more set into the base as premade terrain so they have their own place to fit (or atleast it seems) where as yours are just kind of sat on the base, where sliding is permitted.

Reading that list of mercs that count as 10T for Misaki just sold me. I was waffling vs playing a non Outcast faction, or going pure 10T but couldn't give up my viks or gremlins. 10T+Viks+Gremlins it is!

If we could take everything with Levi that Collodi could take solo it would take away from the option of having them separate. I wish it could be so as well, but also see the downside.

I REALLY like him. But he is an 8 point, MAYBE 9 point mode.
