  1. I am so going to see this on the weekend. It's the movie I've been waiting for all summer.
  2. Sadly not the case with these. Inside diameter of a 40mm base is 31mm. These inserts are anwhere from 34-37mm in dia. I also got 4 packs of the 30mm ones and 2 of the packs had 3 of the same base. So 6 of the same base plus 2 from the other 2 packs. I PM'ed them, and posted about it on the forum. The post was deleted, and no response other than a PM saying I shouldn't have posted it.
  3. I bought a bunch of the inserts (swamp) at GenCon. The 40mm ones don't actually fit a 40mm base. I'm not sure if it's a warping thing or what.
  4. They've been around, just haven't put much out since GenCon last year.
  5. I am indded a bit picky. I've always liked the top loaders. I have Perdita and Marcus in little mini photo albums for now. I just like having everything laid out in front of me. I suppose I could laminate them, but I like the thickness of the top loader. I am one of those anal retentive types that hates having folds in cards or roughed up books. I like everything looking pristine. I blame it on the days of comic collecting and looking for that "near-mint" copy.
  6. As used at GenCon: http://www.bcwsupplies.com/products/Other-Topload-Holders/3_5x5-Topload-Holder.htm Sadly, shipping costs to Canada are outrageous, starting at $50. So if anyone is ordering some, and doesn't mind ordering extra and shipping t Canada...
  7. Around here I call Perdita 'Dita, and Zoraida is known as "the Booby Witch".

  9. My addiction may have a new fix. I really like the Space Wolf models this time around.
  10. Love the stuff. Picked up the Wave 5 for Aurloks and Avalon at GenCon. Forgot to nab the girlfriend's Jade Triad ninjas.
  11. This is a similar predicament to the extra dynamite stick that Papa Loco has. I've only seen it put on the model once, and AoM, found the spot. Sadly I lost my dynamite. I am curious where the knife goes as well, I'll likely leave mine off.
  12. I'm a bit behind, but these look fantastic. Great idea.
  13. I finally got around to using Zoraida for the first time this evening against Sonnia and her Crew. The Silurids definately seem weak at first glance/use, but I think their potential is great. Sonnia cast a Fire wall up and managed to take out 2 of the Silurids with it, but the 3rd leapt over it, charged Sonnia and did a whopping 1 Damage to her. Next round it managed to a couple more points before dying. It was fun though. I'm looking forward to trying them out again.
  14. I like the game, and the models, but it's really difficult to get people into large scale Miniatuures games.
  15. Yep, I'm older than I look, and I dress less "professional" than society says I should at my age.
  16. Awesome, thanks. I`m 35 today, it`s all downhill from here.
  17. I love mine, but I seem to reverting to a drybrushing style ately, so they`re awesome for that too, but don`t use your good ones.
  18. Look at all you bandwagon jumpers. I already have it all, and can't wait to get the english rulebook. Makes me feel like the demos I ran at GenCon paid off.
  19. There are also a lot of movies already licensed out under various agreements, so a lot of that stuff will stay, unless the option turns over again. Existing licenses won't just disappear.
  20. They saw you coming. I have never entered a store in Canada that didn't have the exchange rate posted and gave you exchange for your US dollars. Maybe you went when the dollar was on par, or close to it. As far as the waits go, I think your hearing stories. I've never heard of anyone waiting months for something like that. Nor have I ever had any issues, considering I almost died in February, and I got fantastic care, see my specialists on a regular basis. I'm thinking there's more t their stories than they're telling you. That said, when my girlfriend snapped her ankle, it was 3 days before they could get her into surgery to put the plates and pins in, and she was in the Cancer ward as they were full.
  21. But see See the Unseen ignores all duels required to attack, it doesn't specify WP duels, so the wording avoids Open the Box. According to Eric and the boys.
  22. That's triage for you. And having had friends who work in emergency, I'd just like to state that the waiting room isn't the best indicator of how maby people are in there. Up here ambulances have their own entrances, so you never see how many people come in. We also often have alerts where a certain hospital has to send all ambulances to the next as they are full. When I severed the tendons in my hand, I got to emergency at midnight, saw my first doctor at about 3am, then the accidents arrived, and I didn't get out until 8am. I was back in at 2pm for my surgery and on my way home an hour after that. Your politicians are feeding you lies about Canadian Healthcare. You only wait months if it's elective surgery, as in not required to live.
  23. Oops, I was reading Casting Cost.
