  1. Here's pic of the little princess spotted with a mini tomahawk hairdo
  2. Thank you all for the well wishes. I'll post a pic of the little princess once I get the chance. Maybe enter the pic for the Femme Fatale haha. Good luck to the IP contestants. I'll be watching with interest at the sideline still.
  3. Hi all, just wanted to share with you guys the joy of the arrival of my 2nd child, baby girl Tyra. She weights 3440grams at birth. Both mother and child are healthy. I'll be more active once everything is settled. Ciao.
  4. Isn't the thread starter asking the former champs a question? Why are those shameless chaps answering them even before the champs have spoken? :tongue2:
  5. That half face is what I like about this sculpt. Not the boobs nor the undies I swear
  6. Amazing stuff, The facial expressions are very well sculpted.
  7. Yup I said that and I still stand by it. Have a great B'day.
  8. Looks good enough to eat! Seriously the granite stone looks convincing. The bunny hole and the different plants makes like very interesting. Great job I say.
  9. Its interesting that you seem to be painting from base up.
  10. Very nice model indeed. I suggest changing the lip colour of the orc from pink to a bluish/ purplish colour. Also paint the scales on the cloth in front another colour? What you think?
  11. To add to the above, someone once told me "A for Umbrella".
  12. Same here, only Zoe and the robots appeal to me.
  13. I think she's gonna more likely hurt herself with that thing.
  14. That's Wyrd, I see it fine over here. Anyway uploaded it to my gallery. http://wyrd-games.net/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=1690&ppuser=307
  15. After seeing Maestro's awesome Varghar, I was greatly inspired to start on mine which I had put off since beginning of this year. The idea I had was to paint a Varghar in moonlight and also do some slight changes. I swapped the axe for a sword which fitted his pose very nicely. Also did a water splash to give it a sense of motion. Looking forward to your kind comments. I have also entered this model into the Golden Toadstool for the very 1st time and I hope to get your support if you feel its good enough for your votes. There is also a brief writeup on how I go about painting this on my blog. Thanks for looking!
  16. The dark skintone is very nicely done. The hair needs alot more attention to be honest. I feel by highlighting the crown area and having the area you had painted a white line as reflection in the shadow it would look more right? Sorry for my bad english what I meant is that you have painted the highlights in the spot where the shadow should have been.
  17. Where I live, there isn't a single day that the relative humidity is below 80% since my country is surrounded by the sea and the temp. above 30 degree Celsius on most days. On a rainy day humidity gets to above 90%. I've always used spray on primer and matte coat. However, I make it a point to give the can a good shake and warm it up either with a hair dryer or in a mug of warm water before spraying. After that I'll also speed up the drying with the hair dryer. This will prevent the "white coat of death" from forming. As for primer, I don't think you will have much issue with humidity unless of course you are spraying in the open rain haha.
  18. Very nice indeed! I love the basework too. I'm suggesting green ooze or something like that to break up the red maybe.
  19. You mean folks are saying that Wyrd minis are larger that what they are suppose to be? To me I feel that Wyrd minis are somewhat more delicate, or slender as compared to other range of the same size 28-30mm. It's not so bulky so as to say and certainly not larger.
  20. I've been watching Hell Dorado minis for a while and I think theres a chance I might be getting their stuff soon. I'm just waiting to see how Rackham progress.
  21. Very cute that hog. The bitten off ear is a nice touch too.
  22. The guy in the flower shirt is back, and with a stunning mini! Haven't got round to painting my Varghar yet and this will be something to strive for. I was also planning to paint a Varghar in moonlight, I hope I will be able to do something this good too.
  23. The face is really well done from what I see. The freehands on the front and back needs some tidying up though if you are thinking of entering a comp I think its worth the trouble. Also paint in some stronger highlights on her upper body and shade the folds a tad more and you have a great entry!
  24. The base is made of plaster I casted out from Hirst Art molds. I then sanded it down and added cracks and the grooves. The reds are coming off much brighter than they really are but that's the photography part that I have to live with.
