  1. That's a shame. There use to be stores where I live, but they closed them awhile ago. I use to like the store.
  2. How about painting (a different) one next year, that you painted in 2007?
  3. Great progress Hinton! Looking good.
  4. I have to second what Skya said about the links. For example, if I click on the Autumn Basing Kit link, it takes me to "http://www.skullcrafts.com\autumn_basing_kit.htm/" which is incorrect because of both the backslash and the trailing forward slash. I hope that helps you track-down the problem.
  5. Mowing the lawn, landscaping... I didn't realize the weather is so different. It's snowing here. Oh! Right! Happy birthday! :party: :bdayparty
  6. Congratulations. Only 2 years? I didn't realize that I stumbled in to so close to the start.
  7. We're supposed to have a use for the miniatures that we own? Uh-oh. Some nice stuff.
  8. I would like to return the thank you. It wouldn't be at all the same without you, Supervike!
  9. Thanks again for writing the article. I had a thought about this. I am looking for a different scenic water to use. Do you think that the Golden Self Leveling Clear Gel would work for that?
  10. Happy Birthday! :fest30::fest30::fest30::fest30::fest30: :party:
  11. Thanks for taking the time to write that. I don't know if I will ever try it, but it's nice to know how, if I decide to.
  12. @Hinton Our current miniature time-lines aren't too different, I got back into the hobby in 2006, and my on-line hobby time is mostly spent here. The Wyrd contests got my attention initially, and it has been a fun place to visit. It was very nice to meet you and Duende (and the others) in person. I am glad that I had that chance. @wren BTW, congratulations on placing second in the Reaper contest, you had a great entry. I'm not sure what you are saying about your painting style. I think that you are a very good miniaturist. I'm not sure what you are refering to when you say that people do not enjoy some of the miniatures that you choose to paint, as for myself, I know that I have painted a few that were met with that reaction.
  13. Well, there you have it... Full plate pajamas! :tongue2:
  14. I don't know about weapons, but couldn't armor be a status symbol (especially something like full plate)? That seems in-line with the stereotypical vampire psychology to me. Just a thought.
  15. That's a really great diorama! The pieces work perfectly together!
  16. Great diorama! I remember really liking that movie in my youth. The prince looks really great! Thanks for posting that.
  17. Very nice work. Congrats on being the official manufacturer's miniature! (that's my personal miniature painting dream )
  18. Very nice work on the miniatures! Do you have any pictures of the Last Unicorn piece? I would really like to see that. And... Long Island you say? As in the Long Island in New York state? Please tell me more!
  19. They are all really nice. I have to diverge from the comments that you have received so far, and say that my favorite bit of your work is the skin on Taxxis. I am amazed. The blends are perfect, even in the enormously-large pictures! If I may ask... layering? wet-blending? something else? Great stuff!
  20. Very nice work. Brilliant NMM!
